PS: It's amazing how annoying of a dungeon you can make with only two keys. Nintendo might want to play this and take notes.

I take that as a compliment.
Anyhoo, the 2nd key can be found from the southwestern corner of the DARK Side. I don't think specific directions are needed to guide you there. Simply head towards that corner and you should get to the screen woth the key...

Anyways, I finally completed level 2 and found the Candle. Now my bomb supply is empty from those stupid Dodongos...oh well. Now to finish this stupid Triforce dungeon. Any other ideas?

if your in windows XP, try going to START Menu -> RUN -> type in DXDIAG and press enter -> go to the video tab and turn off Direct Draw Acceleration and see if the game runs faster. if it doesn't then turn it back on and i don't know lol.

It should work! The last room's directions are east, west, east, west just as the letters on the "in between rooms" tell you: E, N, E, N
If you're stuck in the room before that, then you have to go east, north, north and west if I remember correctly.
You post a snapshot by using the [IMG] tags.

where is the compass in sky fortress? can you provide direct instructions to it from the start prior to having any switches hit? it would make it easier to know where i am and where i have to go now that i have the wand.
