However, I do find this all ironic, coming from the guy who threw multiple death knights at me in This Might Be Good.

Well at least I did make them somewhat beatable. . I Re downloaded it again. and I Still can't make it passed it.

If Death Knights are somewhat beatable for you, the Level 2 boss in IoR should be a breeze.

Well, I don't have my upgraded sword and defense. So this makes IoR's LV2 boss a bit harder.
And I had cheats on my game *Is feeling shame*.

The way I see it, you have two options. First, wait or Evan to release an easy version. Or two... just don't fight the boss now. Go do other stuff. Beat the next level. Get a better sword and tunic. Then come back and kill him. Cheap, but it works.

And then you find out that the 3rd dungeons entrance is located within the 2nd dungeon, just past the room containing the Death Knight. So you end up not having the gear to complete any other dungeon until after you get past the death knight and enter dungeon 3

So I just discovered setting the system date to Dec 25 unlocks Christmas mode in Cave Story +, where Quote is a reindeer, the entire game is covered in snow, the characters are all dressed up in Christmas outfits, etc. It's pretty much the greatest thing ever.

Yeah I might have to do that, Oh well back to more questing around in remdra (Or whatever its called <_<.)

I actually did end up messing with the placement of the fireball shooters in that fight. The final version will likely contain 3 shooters as opposed to 4. And if they're giving you that much trouble, you can always bomb them (like every other shooter in the quest)!

3. Terraria - Messing around with a ton of mods. Building a nice base with the DTRAPS mod. Sweet base defense stuff.
4. Anno 2070. City Sim / Base Building / Resource Management. I love games like this.

You can bomb them!? My god who'd would'v guessed that. I'll have to try that in my next attempt.

It's a pretty sweet game. Now I'm more excited than ever to play it next month.

Oh right. TS and I played the Cold Stream campaign of L4D2. Dan did too for a while, but he had to go to bed. It was fun, really. Probably one of the hardest video games I've ever played, but I honestly enjoyed most of it.

It was fun, but brutally difficult. O_o Also, that AI was pretty dumb. >_>

AI controlled player does nothing at all to help. There weren't even enemies. He just sat there. And then we died. ):

Have you considered primarily using Bombs on it? That's what I did and I got through on the first try from what I remember. The sword is pretty much useless for that fight and Arrows help somewhat still though.


Anyhow, I'm playing through DFW's Origin. I'm on the Second Quest currently, just finished Level 8. I even got the Magic Key which was a real pain to get due to those Mirrorobes at the end and only having the Blue Tunic to fight them. I take it the Magic Key is probably optional, but I didn't want to return for it once I got the Red Tunic since I'm sure it's like next door to Ganon in Level 9.

Sometimes I wonder the logic from the original Nintendo team of putting the Red Tunic so late in the game where it's basically useless.

I honestly think that the Red Ring was simply too powerful, even for Level 9 where the majority of the enemies hit for considerable damage - It would have made it a little too easy if introduced earlier. I never really had to worry about my heart meter after I got it in either first or second quests because everything felt so weak.
