Today's update is Lucas's special moves!

Oh geez. He and Ness share almost exactly the same specials. I mean, PK Freeze looks like it behaves similar to Ness's PK Flash. I sure do hope we see a Ness update. Maybe Lucas is to Ness like Luigi is to Mario, hopefully.

In fact, I believe this opens several doors for us.

• If they even mentioned Ness, it would be a travesty not to include him. Thus, Ness is included.
• If Ness is included, that means that there is a strong possibility that the other three original SSB Unlockable characters (Luigi, Captain Falcon, and Jigglypuff. Ness included.) will be making a triumphant return as well in the future.
• If they admitted that Lucas is similar to Ness, (And we have obviously seen how similarly he is to a "Clone" character, namely what Falco was to Fox.) then there's little probability that other clone-like characters would be denied.
• Hence, Falco. God I hope so. I mean Lucas's Bair is a Meteor Smash, so they wouldn't necessarily be altering Falco's Dair Spike to nerf him, now would they?

And it looks...freakin'...OWNAGE. I would sell my soul for a Wii so I can get this game.

Again a stage with an obstacle to disrupt the fight. Man, I'm really beginning to wonder about Brawl. How many NORMAL (Non-altering) stages do they have, anyway? Three or four. They REALLY need to add some stages where you can just concentrate on fighting, not evading the environment

It's why I'm going to make heavy use of the stage editor. I'm just as annoyed. FD is my home base.

Anyone know yet if you can air-dodge in Brawl yet? (Hoping you can dodge the lava wave. )

Yeah, I agree that Ness won't return. Basically instead of Ness, they had Lucas replace him. It makes sense as Mother 3 is the newer game. Just like Link isn't the OoT model anymore, he is now the TP model.

I don't think it will be a travesty without him as you can look at it as Lucas is Ness in a different model. Link isn't going to be the same exact Link from SSBM, Mario isn't the same mario, pikachu isn't the same pikachu. They change them a little (the physics are obviously not going to be exactly the same) to make a balance for this game. Ike is the same way.

I think Nintendo is going for a clonefree SSB for this one. Falco, Luigi, and Ganon are clones that I want on the game, but may not be on there. Luigi has a very high chance however, I still think he will have a different moveset. Ganon also has a chance on returning with a different move set. However, for some reason I think Star Wolf is a bigger chance then Falco.

I personally like stages that have obstacles like Norfair's. In fact, I like this stage a whole lot more than Brinstar. I prefer stages with hazards more than ones without hazards, myself. That doesn't mean I won't want to fight in Final Destination from time to time, though.

On a side note, why WOULDN'T they add Ness? Without Ness, there wouldn't have been a Lucas.

I guess this is really one of those times where we can speculate all we want, and it wouldn't amount to anything significant, results-wise, aside from making us "right" or "wrong." ... ... sayeth the hypocrite, referencing the earlier "Why speculate?" of mine.


Still a strong probability that Falco and Ganondorf will make a return, but with a different moveset apiece. That would make them clone characters no longer.

Krystal may make it as an Assist Trophy, I hope. (*Crosses fingers*)
