Remember that 3d voxel Legend of Zelda remake that got shut down by Nintendo? This is an NES emulator that does that to EVERY NES game automatically. You can even click-and-drag to change the viewing angle to whatever you want. Any time that it gets depth wrong, you can click on the offending object and manually adjust it. I admit, the default detection doesn't work too well, but you can save your manual settings to a separate file, and there's a group of people working on making a special file for as many games as possible. (Also, for games where there's black outlines around things, you even get a separate setting to erase the outlines before shaping the final object, so things like Mario pipes look better.)
Also, this is the initial release, but the developer is still working on it and will release updates. Still, for what it is, you might want to try playing around with a handful of games and streaming it. I've only tried a handful of games, but it looks like the pre-made files for Batman, Metroid, and a couple others look really good.
