I'm with Lightwulf on this one, purple seems to represent darkness and despair red often represents lava and hell, the sort of reason why LI was based on that colour not because it's a final dungeon (so I believe)

I like it a lot, I wish the mountain edges were rounded like in LA though:

It looks okay. Design is pretty simple and linear, but the detail seems fine. Colors are pretty average for winter, I'd say. If you want to make GB screen stick out, I'd recommend putting some good design elements into your screens. This screen, for instance, is really lacking some great design. Nonetheless, the screen looks fine.

Meh, I don't like when people mix grasses on one layer and leave blank spots on the white/yellow grass layer. Do it the way Nintendo did then use in their GB games. Click Here, that's how I would do it. Also the I would replace the rounded tall grass with the square grass also watch how they do there grass, sort of patterned I would go for that too.

close. there should be a piece for the top three of the falling water that blends better at its top with the seemingly still water.

The bottom of the waterfall should be up a tile. And plus it seems you ignore my feedback so I'm not bothering to comment on your work unless you need help. icon_neutral.gif

I like it both ways. the way it is it looks like it is coming forward a bit as it falls, but one less row of falls sure wouldn't look wrong.

Well, maybe he doesn't need help.
Or he just didn't like the idea of what you suggested.
OR you haven't given him a chance to even take said advise into consideration.
No need to give up all hope on him icon_wink.gif
(Although I've lived with him for *** years, and he doesn't take advise all that offten icon_razz.gif)

I tell him to add more grass as the yellow dirt looks really bad covering up alot of the screen.
That's just what I think would spice the screen up.

Well *points at the thread title* icon_razz.gif
Well then if that's the case then that's fine by me but I rather see GB used how Nintendo did theirs. icon_smile.gif
Well he that's the case then he didn't respond saying he hasn't gotten around to it yet. Keep in mind I'm not in the same house as him. icon_razz.gif

Shane, I didn't see your post, I did not ignore it, but I will add more grass.

Fair enough.
And just to point out Shane, I wasn't pissed or anything when putting to bolder "OR" at the end.

Just for enthusiasm, you know icon_wink.gif
