Thanks, it must be the NW one I missed.

EDIT:OK, I'm pretty sure it's north but I can't find it so where's Mt. Death?

There's a portal on the mountain. I don't remember exactly where, but I remember you have to find a fence that you super bomb and fight a Gleeok.

The flute is on the screen where you appear after escaping from Hyrule. You need to slash the rubble at the upper right corner of the screen.

I can't seem to open the door to what I assume is Plant Pond in Misery Mire. Am I missing a key?

Pland Pond opens when you get the medal in Glacier Grotto. But you can approach Plant Pond's entrance only if you already have the item of Glacier Grotto, so:
-the thing you speak of is either not Plant Pond's entrance or
-you came out from Glacier Grotto after getting its item, but before beating it, which sounds random
Plant Pond's entrance looks like LttP Misery Mire dungeon's entrance and has an ice patra (Crystal Keeper) with it when it's not open.

Thanks, CC, I was mistaken about getting into Plant Pond. What is strange, though, is that I can't beat the boss of Nightmare with the wand/book. I even watched your YouTube video of the boss fight and made sure that I had the mirror in the exact same spot that you used. Tried it many times to no avail. Tried putting the mirror in other spots. Even exited ZC and tried again. Any idea what this might be due to?

schoochie662:
Maybe because the push/undercomo/flag thing. The floor (besides the borders) have secret flag on them that turn into warp combo when you hit the leg of the boss just as I did with the video. But when you push the mirror, it erases the flag all the way where you push it, so, after shooting, keep walking to the left, then up/down to surely get in the trigger margin in time.

EDIT:
How you have the book? It costs 999 rupees and you get the wallet for it only in... Plant Pond.

Thanks, CC. How did I get the book for 999 rupies? I had...ahem...given myself a short-term loan with a memory editor. Shame on me...

I suspected the use of cheats ever since you mentioned the blocked "Plant Pond" door, but say, what can such an editor do? Just if they can let even walking through walls, then disabling cheats is in vain in all 2.10 quests.

Aye, I also use a memory editor on occasion. (Props to you, schoochie662, for knowing how! icon_biggrin.gif :highfive: ) You'd have to be veeeerry creative in order to activate a L4 cheat. The easiest things to do in memory editors are to simply look for a value, say, if your rupees are 44, look for all values of 44. Then get another two or three rupees, and compare it to the old values. Then get another three or four rupees, and compare it again. Then it isolates where the rupee values are held, and you can manipulate them from afar, even freeze them. Good stuff.

Of course, rupees are harder to do than health. You'd have to know your exact health value, which you can't do with hearts. You'd have to know that they perform in multiples of 16, and even then, it depends on how the quest author has chosen to represent the images depicting the representations of the values.

I think ShadowTiger explained it well how you can use the editor. And don't forget that there's also a ZConsole available for 2.10, so for a 2.10 quest maker to disable cheats is in fact in vain. I tend to use it only when I find a game extremely frustrating, like just now when trying to get around in Misery Mire.

EDIT: Finished a second time. This is truly an epic game!
