As for the latest video, I'd say that all of the worlds shown in SSB are kind of like imaginary playsets. The "trophies" play out their roles as though their worlds are all naturally interconnected, without worrying how they got there.

Link appearing via tornado is at odds with the latest games, but I have to give them points for being old school.
I've always thought of the Link in Smash Bros. as a kind of mix of all Links. So I don't see this one as just "TP Link." Yeah, he gets his appearance from TP, but I don't think that means all his moves are TP based. Look at Link in Melee. Based on OoT Link, right? Except he can throw a boomerang as an adult. Or downstab (or up) like AoL Link. Etc. I think this new Link is based on TP like Melee and original Link are based on OoT: kind of, but not completely. Besides, the tornado wasn't only used by the original game. You only have to look back as far as TWW to see Tornado warping used.
Also, for those of you who live in areas that have daylight savings: updates occur an hour earlier now. Just in case you didn't know.
Finally, I was talking before about how the original four unlockables have yet to be revealed. Well, I just realized that NO characters that have been unlockables have been revealed. What does this mean? I don't know, but it's a bit curious IMO.

Sonic-to-Mario crossovers ftw!
Yay, the Beam Sword looks a little more like a lightsaber. :O

No-one seems to have said much about the stage editor. I think it'll be the single defining feature of SSBB, which means we'll all still be playing in 5 years. When it comes out, I must makes sure I've got codes for all the Wii-owners here (I've got a few already) so we can swap arenas. I'm looking forward to Shoelace's "Michael's Backyard Wrestling" arena already...

Can't say I agree, but I don't mind if there's always an option to turn off certain ones.
I'll tell you what really bugged me, though: items that you turn off will often still show up in crates and maybe party balls.
Everybody cares, for the most part, but it's hard to say much more about it until we see it. "Create Your Own ______" features vary widely in quality, and the only way to truly know how good one is, is to get your hands on it and give it a try.
I think it'll be great, but there's not much else to say right now.

I think you've got a point there, although I think it's more style than anything. I see it as definitely TP Link, only Smash Bros. Link "remembers" all his past incarnations.
This is actually very interesting to note. I predict there will be a lot of "surprises" when the game is released...well, okay, people probably won't be surprised by most of the returning characters, but either way, we won't be able to confirm whether they are in until the game is released.

Oh, you don't need to worry, everyone will scramble to get the Wii codes to each other when this game comes out. And I do what to make MBW arena, how did you know. The only thing is, the stage maker looks limited. Hopefully you can design your own tiles, however, Nintendo would say that people will draw nasty things and such even though you can only share it to your friends list anyways. >_<

I'm curious about what we could make with a stage editor. I know I'll be trying to recreate Trinity Worlds's North Oracle Mountain. I'm hoping to see a PureZC tournament stage, as well. I hope Nintendo gives us the ability to save custom maps that are featured once per day. There might be a map I really like that I might never see again.
EDIT: My WPM with the Wii Remote must be getting higher!

The Assist Trophy is cool. Useful, I guess. Anyways:

PA-SHEEN!
I misread that as PA-SHWEEN!
