Does this door require a boss key? I have 4 keys but it doesn't open.

That key actually requires an ice key. It's just useful to get a shortcut through the tower though, really, kinda. Not necessary, but still hard to avoid while going through the dungeon.

Thank you everyone. I finally figured out (thanks to vravelo) that I have to chop all the ice not just the ice with blocks in it. So simple, how embarrassing!

I don't think boots protect against those spikes. I think they're just for the green stuff in the swamp caves

I actually (hope) I fixed that a week or so ago. DoY250 is the latest version for 2.5. I stopped using RC4 a week or so ago. The versions are probably interchangable (Or at least upgradable only) to the point where if it gives you an error, you can just rename the DoY250.qst file to DoY2012RC4.qst or whatever and it'll work.

Sweet. Enjoy the new game! icon_biggrin.gif

The Swamp Boots are in the north-west corner of the swamp, to the west of the entrance into the Excavation.

The Raft / Flying Boots are in the Sewers. Big difference; two entirely different items. Just to clarify.

I walked up the left side and when I was "gulped" he swallowed me even though I could see myself beside him on the left and soooo I ended up here.

P.S. I wonder why I am the only one who has a warning "thingy" under my avatar, maybe you all should be wary hehe

Yeah, the whole thing is a really weird sequence using two different types of invisible warps: One that warps you to your exact coordinates on another screen, and one that warps you to editor-determined coordinates on same other screen. C-Dawg probably wasn't expecting people to try to sneak past on the side. It's a heck of a mess to clean that up. All that's really needed is for the last screen in the gulp sequence to have none of the direct warps, and only use stair warps that warp you to the specific spot, not the same coordinates.
