Ya, Shiny Gold is all the way through Johto, and most of Kanto, so I'd more likely go with that one. Though I may give Liquid Crystal a try to. Although from the video I saw, it doesn't use the Legendary music when you fight Suicune, which is a big turn off for me ('cause I love that song).

And yet it's only on beta 2? Strange. Well, the Orange Islands have just peaked my interest in it. I'll have to try them both. Who knows, maybe I'll play through both.

Sure! Would you mind sending over a Meowth, Mawile, Teddirusa, or Gulpin? Those are the only SS exclusives (besides Groudon, which is useless until I get Kyogre) I haven't obtained yet.

Well, it was supposed to look like Mother 3's art style. I'll admit, it's not perfect, but I like it. Although the Slopoke do look like Hungry Hungry Hippos...

I agree. I played it awhile back before HG/SS were announced. I was at first ecstatic, but then felt bad for the poor guy who put all his time into ShinyGold only for it to be rendered obsolete. At least it gained quite a bit of fame and was pretty well known before HG and SS were actually announced. That alone should be satisfying.

No thanks. I want to catch him myself. Plus, if I desparetly need the dex entry, I'll migrate mine up from Emerald. However, if you happen to have a Pokemon I don't have (especially SS exclusives, or a Crobat, or Blissy), I'll gladly trade.

Oh yeah, I found another fail on the GTS: I was looking at the offers for Dialga just for the heck of it, and I noticed someone was asking for a Shedinja in return. I thought that was odd, since Shedinja was relatively easy to get, so I looked up at the Pokémon's stats...

It's a Shedinja named "DIALGA." So it's not even a Dialga at all, but it came up in the Dialga search results. That's kinda scary if just anybody can do that.

A Staraptor is not complete without Close Combat. My Staraptor in Platinum would sweep a Level 100 with it at Level 85.
