Ok,  I will probably feel very stupid once this is answered, but here it goes.  I have been all over the Monastery in every room i can right now trying to find the answer to 4 letter code for the red room.  I cannot make heads or tails of the book that supposedly hints at the answer either.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Been looking for a few hours, and will keep looking as well.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a key out of order?  I have found all sets of the torches, except for the single one, and I have 1 key door left that I cannot unlock.

Now i somehow can not find the boss key in the monastery. I feel like i have been everywhere. Please help

You have to find the room with the single lightable torch in order to discover the gimmick and logic for the other rooms with the lightable torches. Assuming you're not talking about that single one, there are a total of four torch rooms in the monastery and you need to light the torch in each one in order to proceed. As far as I can tell, you can't sequence break with your keys and soft lock the quest in the monastery, or anywhere else for that matter.

The boss key and boss are both actually in Wall of Text, the basement of the monastery. Once again, pay close, close attention to the walls in Wall of Text.

it's in the Wall of Text area (once you reach that area, you can complete it without needing to go back upstairs). Read all the walls carefully.

Thanks Jamian, I could have sworn I tired that several times to no avail...now that i have the quiver, just need to find the bow then the next quiver.  I love the challenge of this, and the wall of texts is an amazing concept for that area.

I'm stuck in the monastery.  I've got the second key, but have not found the place to use it yet.  I've found the room with 2 torches and the room with 4 torches, but not the rooms with 1 or 3.

I do not know if it is my system settings or not, but for some reason, I cannot get the net to work.  I do follow the instructions to get it to work, but it does not seem to do so.

Sorry about that. I was able to figure it out and get it working.  That is a neat mechanic you have for that Jamian.

 

Next  time, I wont try to read text on my laptop in a dark room without my glasses on....

 

Enjoying the exploration new items give before looking for the boss key in the monastery. 

 

 

 

EDIT:  Anyone have any tips on finding the monastery boss key besides reading all the wall text.  I have read each room several times, even zooming in with the map and the only thing I can think of but cannot figure out is if there is more than one maze path, or where the boss key is on in the area.  I was able to figure it out with the bow and quivers,

and found the boss door, but that is it.
