I'm having the same problem, and my build is v 2.10.0

I'm having the same problem. I can't run 2.10 on my pc.

Is there any way this can be fixed to run on 2.5?

If not, I guess I can't finish this quest.

That's because it's in level 2. Did you beat all the Stalfos enemies in one of the eastern-most rooms? If you already did, then you might've missed the room directly below it.
In case you still can't find it:

I think I've encountered a bug cause I'm playing in 2.50 (2.10 won't run on my laptop, and I'm away from home) and both staircases in that room lead to empty rooms after I collected the arrow out of the right staircase, but the left room stays empty. I remember looking through this room, and wondering why one room was empty though, so that explains that lol.

EDIT: Nevermind, found it. I kept thinking it was in the room with two staircases, but then I remembered 2.10 can't do that, and I found it in the room above now. Thanks. :)

EDIT 2: I did find a small bug worth noting that I noticed in Level 3. In the item rooms, the top layer of black tiles is walkable all the way across the top, which can lead to some odd warping bugs if you leave screen 80 via side warp. Sometimes it's fine, but in some cases, it will take you to the warp position, but slide you over a screen. I dunno if this is 2.5 exclusive, but it's not game breaking, just throw some solid combos up there, or, you know, don't be like me and try to break the game :D

Still managed to beat this, even without Nayru's Love! (Nothing a few superbombs couldn't destroy...)

Thanks Lightwulf for a supreme first quest effort!

I'm kind of stuck in Level 5. I got the hammer, and map, and went through what seemed like the only two routes, but I can't find the boss key anywhere. Is there another entrance to this dungeon?

I am currently stuck in Level 7.  The last item I found there was the whistle and I used it to beat the Digdogger.

After that room it leads to another room with a stairway I am not able to reach.

Found the answer in the forum, used the whistle to move on and beat Level 7!

on big island, in the desert maze, is there a reason why certain rocks are pushable but not all?

i'm also not getting the correlation between the purple trees and the reefs.  likewise with the island in the raft maze with the trees.  are these clues to something, or just neat?

edit:  in lvl9, after getting the big key.  when i return down to the basement, the super bomb barrier is returned, and i'm out of superbombs.  i had to f6.  also, in the room below the big key, why does the floor change when you kill all the enemies?  am i missing something?

editedit: in lvl9, after paying ventus.  i can't get the sword trigger in the room up and left to work.

From the starting point, go left, take shortcut stairs(the right one). Cross the gap with the hookshot. Take the stairs and cross the cave. Exit on the overworld. Take the stairs to the second cave called Warrior Passageway. In the screen with 4 skeletons and a double ladder, go through the left wall and you will find it.

In the top right corner of level 3, there is a tree with arrows under it pointing in directions. Even with the lens of truth, I still don't understand. It's like we need to push something but I can't push the trees. Anyone knows what it means or what to do?

I am stuck in a couple of places.

First, I found one key in the ice cave, but looks like I need at least two more to move on in that dungeon.

Second, I found the beach with two shooter statutes and rocks that block getting to the town, not sure how to get past that.

Found my way to the town, but now need to get the mirror shield for the lighthouse.

Well, I think the issue may very well be connected to what you told Spelunker. I never found the amulet in level 8, so there probably was an invisible enemy in my King Cobra fight that I missed. I saved and went hunting for the amulet!

Okay.  Let me know if you still have that problem.

@lightwulf, i did the that whole giggity sidequest.  its just that one of the characters in monster village talks about giggity having a mini-map power, and i thought i'd get something like that

 Oh, I get it!  No, Link doesn't get a special power.  It's just that when you're in Giggidy's room fighting him, you can look at the minimap to help you figure out which one is him, just like you could in Majora's Mask when figuring out which Wizzrobe is the real one.  I believe that was Gary the Green Goriya who said that clue.

How do I get through this bombable wall?

AirLuigi said it; use the hammer on the statue that doesn't shoot fireballs.  You already hit it once in this screenshot; just a couple more times.

(Magic Key Maze entrance) Are you guys saying you can't go right? You go down after getting the boss key, but a block opens so that you can go to the right.

(bug) Yeah, EddyTheOliveira already told me in a PM.  Fixed.  It will be in the next update.  Thanks!

No, but there is a passageway after you get a key.  Hopefully you found the secret in the flashing question mark room.

(rocks) Not really; you can push them out of the way if you'd like or just ignore them.

(correlation) It might be difficult.  Look at both overworld maps and then enter the Underworld; when you enter the Underworld, look at your map again and see where you come out.

Spoiler

(level 9) Sorry about the bomb thing.  I try to have 1 super bomb already before entering level 9 so that I can go both ways.  Like zcfan said, the floor changes to an arrow pointing upward, hinting for you to bomb that direction.

(sword) You need the Master Sword for the crossed-swords trigger.

What do I do after getting fire boomerang? So far all it got me were a map and a chest of bombs...

Bomb the wall at the end of the cave where you got the map.

Look at it. Doesn't the shape the bushes form look oddly familiar to something?

In case it's not obvious, click here:
That actually was initially unintended; I had wanted them to be Lens hints, but after I saw them after slashing the bushes, I realized you might need those hints before you get the Lens.

1.  You can only find one key at a time in this dungeon.  After using the first key and going north, the room to the right has a key if you beat all the enemies.  After that, go left (and keep going) to find the boss key.

2.  If you explore the outskirts of the island, you'll find a sailor in a cave that explains that.  (There are actually two sailors in caves, but the one closer to that beach explains that.)

@Eddy - the wand is in the mini-dungeon one screen south of the ice dungeon (lvl6?)

Oh I must've missed the item the whole time in the dungeon then...

Ok, back into the dungeon.

Edit: Where's the key for this door?

Oh, that's the same thing that discipleofweb was talking about.  Apparently he couldn't find that key, either.

...

1.  You can only find one key at a time in this dungeon.  After using the first key and going north, the room to the right has a key if you beat all the enemies.  After that, go left (and keep going) to find the boss key.

...

So, just to be clear, go back to the room with a boss-lock door and go east one screen.  Beat those enemies to get the key.

I guess that can be easily missed.   It's a room with an east-south path separate from the main room.  If you enter that room and there's unreachable enemies (because they're in the east-south path and you're not), use arrows to hit them.
