Agreed. Perhaps there could be a shop (either in the overworld or underworld) that sells the red ring as well as any other potentially miss-able items.

There is a shop that sells some of the miss-able items.  Specifically the three that you need to finish the quest if you somehow missed them.  That said, it does seem to be the case that missing the red ring is a huge problem.  I guess you can stumble across Ganon, kill him, and then it's too late.  I'll put some thought into it.

mmm... no sure, but outside the land is full of spikes (all over) , also there is a black rock that I can't move, think I may need an update for my power glove ????,, need to start a new game and be more carefull,,

I don't get it !! why my speller don't work here ?? I'v tried averything

Or they could do like I did and tough it out till they get the Underworld done.

Any clues on the Gibdo dungeon? So far I can only access 4 rooms from the underworld. How do I find it in the waterworld?

My immediate clue would be that the whole dungeon is accessible without ever going topside.  You certainly SHOULD go topside to explore a little, but you don't really need to.  You've probably just

I'm about to post an update.  Hopefully no new bugs will surface.

I've replaced the Blue Ring in the 2nd Overworld potion shops with the Red Ring.  I've messed around a bit with some of the damage combos to reduce knock back from them.  I've put a new wallet at the starting location of the 2nd Overworld.  I fixed a stupid undercombo on the islands.  GOOD LUCK.

Looking forward to playing this... My list is pretty long at present, so it'll likely be a few months.

Seems a nice use of the classic tileset with some brill features. :)

On  scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the hardest), how would you all rate the difficulty level for this quest?

(For reference, I rate the difficulty of 'Lost Isle', at between 8 and 9, closing on 9.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being best), how would you all rate the originality of this quest?

Where are you from, that a link to TV Tropes lands you at the Vatican?

Also, you can use the new .qst file without starting a new game.  Updates will apply fairly.  I haven't made any major structural changes that would mess up a save.

Independently I'd say the difficulty is "rather hard".  I haven't played Lost Isles yet, so I can't compare.  Although, I find it hard to imagine a game as colorful and well liked as that one is being is ever as cruel to the players as mine is on occasion.  I'd GUESS mine is harder, but I have no real basis for that.

As for creativity?  I'm not in a position to judge, except to say that I played as little of other people's quests as I could before creating mine, so any weird ideas in it mostly came out of my own head.  I'd rather say that it's "well put together" than overly creative.

I would love to get a few more reviews on it in order to balance out the one random and unexplained 0/5.

I lost my save file, it got "corrupted" somehow (this has happened to me before with 2.5) I had just gotten my blue glove and was traveling around using it. Soooo I started again, yes, again, I'm hooked. Now I am back in the dark world and this time with my red ring. so off I go to play. :bounce:

Where is the mirror shield. I thought it was in the Underworld but I have been everywhere and cannot find it.

It's the prize for completing the Wizzrobe Dungeon.

There should be a hint inside the dungeon itself.
