Well I mostly use characters with ranged attacks (Link, Toon Link, Samus, Etc...) so I would be fine if I ran into a jiggly puff.

Jigglypuff is the best character ever. No exceptions.

 

If Jigglypuff were to be removed, this would spiral SSB series down into the drains.

I don't really think so, for 

1. She does not even have a single ranged attack, Not one.
2. She is very lightweight.
3. She is weak.
4. She does not have a 3rd jump (No Up+B for her!).
5. She has some strange sleeping attack where bubbles come out of her (She looks like she is farting out bubbles).
6. Look at 1. 2. 3. 4. and 5.

her punch attack is decent as if you short hop then use it you can go kinda fast and the attack does have some knockback though.

Okay, OT, now getting over the lack of a story mode. I hope there will be enough content to make up for it. I mean, it honestly felt like they just degraded the series. But this is based on assumptions.

You should REALLY look at things. You just haven't met any good Jigs players yet. Also, she was VERY dangerous in Melee. I switched to Jigs to tease my cousin one time and I killed him at 25%. She should not be underestimated.

1. That's why dodging is one of the best moves in the game

2. Lightweight can be use to your advantage.

3. Look at 1's response.

4. She has multiple regular jumps and her side b, making it to where she needs no up+B.

5. The Down+B is for emergencies in case you're close to death, or if your timing is really good, one could use it at any point.

6. I have contradicted all of those points.

Jigglypuff is middle of the pack honestly. Not amazing, not terrible. Skilled players can do some crazy stuff with her still, but there are way better characters out there.

 

In regards to the article a page back, can't say I'm surprised. He always seems to be doing something wrong with the games as of late. Though this is pretty high up there. It's like being afraid to buy a car because you fear you'll get in an accident. I wouldn't be surprised if SSB4 ends up worse than Brawl honestly.

1. Neither does Meta Knight, who's in a tier of his own.  Marth, Ike, and Captain Falcon don't, either.  I guess they're all terrible, too.

2. Well yes, much like 1/3 of the rest of the characters.  Kirby, Lucas, Toon Link, and Pikachu are all lightweights too.  I'm sure Mega Man will be, too.

3. Funny, I could only beat Event 51 in Melee with her.  You're telling me being able to defeat Giga Bowser, Mewtwo, and Ganondorf, who each have 3 stock, are weak compared to Jigglypuff?

4. She has 5 jumps, and her side-B works for recovery, as long as you don't need a boost upwards.

5. If you learn how to use it, in Melee, it's a finisher, and in Brawl, it still deals a lot of damage.  It's a risk vs. reward kind of attack that you just have to train with.

To be fair, I've been in accidents enough that I don't like cars, much less driving them. :x  But I get the analogy.  It's...pretty much spot on.  I was someone who didn't watch the Brawl cutscenes until I was watching them in-game.  And they were awesome.  But, because some other people just watch them without playing the game, you have to punish the rest of us?  I wonder if they count the people who couldn't afford it?  Also, Nintendo already has a reputation for spoiling the shit out of their own work in their trailers.  Skyward Sword was guilty of that.  Sakurai's logic here is pretty pathetic. (I know Sakurai's not all of Ninty, but still.)

All I can say about Jigglypuff is that she's quite a quarterback! Her tosses are insane.

Jigglypuff is incredible in Melee but not so much in Brawl. Nerfed way too much.

Jigglypuff certainly is okay. It's just a huge bummer that Sonic's so weak. He could use some better finish attacks, really, he's so weak

Too bad he won't be in this Smash Bros. Looking forward to Megaman, his moveset is nice. Mario could also be better, I mean he's Nintendo's "main" character.

Who says he won't? He just hasn't been revealed yet if he isn't, and I wouldn't be surprised if he returned. Sega and Nintendo did make that recent "exclusive-rights" Sonic deal for the next however-long it was.

Hopefully they make him more interesting for competitive play too. I think hes one of the most boring characters in ssbb.
