What exactly do you need? I may be able to help with at least some of it. LI's one of my favorite quests, so I'm happy to help if I can.The bad news is that the quest requires some advanced scripting and I haven't been able to figure this scripting stuff out. Also, the quest will be bigger than Lost Isle was so even if I somehow get all the scripts working, it will take many years to build the quest.

I guess not all players appreciate messing around with an item. What are the chances of someone not having 100% clearing Lost Isle because he or she needed an extra boost? I say there is a few valid points to the item.
It's good to see Lost Isle 2 being a great possibility, since Lost Isle is one of my two favorite quests. Sadly I can't script, but I hope things work out.
Well, hard to do anything with it given I've already found everything. On the other hand, not that many items you could put in there given the inventory format and spacing are similar to the original Zelda, so no Lens of Truth or other accessory items could fit in this type of quest. Fire boomerang is nice if a bonus dungeon was giving trouble, as then it would help. Also can help with clearing out screens in the overworld.
I guess I'm a big fan of the fire boomerang, but given the item formats in this quest, shouldn't be surprised that it's not in the main game.

So these are some serious bugs, I still think they should be fixed:

Here: I can take advantage of the lack of smart screen scrolling.

Here: I press down during the former cutscene to skip the dungeon and enter the boss cutscene.

Here: If I stay on close to the door as possible and beat the boss, I can walk out the door and into the void, avoiding the second phrase of the battle.

If it's scripting you need help with... I could help. I know quite a bit of it.

I have to admit that first I skipped all LP's of Lost Isle, because it looked so extensive that I would never even dare playing through all of it. However, after seeing the developer's playthrough and all the explanations, I thought let's give it a try, and wow ... it really is one of the best and longest and hardest quests out there. I personally don't like solving block puzzles and walking over tight passages with pits diagonally etc ... that's why I didn't like Level 3 a lot, butt from the designer's view, it's a great job and it was still fun to play through it, just because of it's sheer quality.

How's LI2 coming along Peteo? Is scripting still being a skinhead?

Has anybody made a youtube playthrough of "Lost Isle" with only three hearts? If not, I know what my next project will be.
Unfortunately, I didn't know how to use screen recording software back in 2007, but I did at least take screenshots:

Lost Isle really wasn't that hard, maybe harder than the first quest, but not difficult.

It wasn't even difficult.

The final boss is actually quite easy on three hearts. Its the boss before him in Dungeon 4 that's rough.

I actually found The level 4 Boss easier, though it DID require pattern memorization. If anything, the Level 4 miniboss might have given me the most trouble.

Yeah, the miniboss in level 4 can be tricky given it's so cramped in the room. The boss I flawlessed with the help of the mirror shield.
Almost flawlessed the final boss, only getting hit by stray fireballs

Stuck in level 2. Found a bombable wall and already triggered the two steps in the garden in the south but know running in circles.
May be easiest to watch Part 9 in my LP (link to "LI" playlist in the signature). Hard to explain exactly how to work this place given it's fairly confusing
