_L_ made another Mac build. See if this one works: http://l.j-factor.co.../ZC-250-rc2.tgz

I can install it on my Mac (Snow Leopard) now thanks a million!
To be honest, I just recently installed Windows XP on my Mac too.
Is there any reason to use one version of ZC versus the other?

I'm not trying to rush anyone, I know far too well that it is better to do something right
rather than doing it quickly, but would you recommend that I start my quest in this
version or wait until the official alpha build?

The two versions should effectively be the same. However, because of setup of Mac applications, the Mac version... isn't that great to use for quest development without some (admittedly fairly easy) customization. The reason for this is because ZQuest and ZC point to their own, individual quest folders rather than a combined quest folder. Of course, you can tell ZC to point to the ZQuest one if desired.

At least, last I used it. It may be different now.

I haven't tried out RC2 yet, but one of the issues I had with earlier builds was that
the folder directory didn't refresh properly. If I deleted a folder, I would get an
error message when I tried to import files even from folders that still existed.
I was forced to put an empty folder with the name of the deleted folder back
into the spot I had deleted it from.

I found this rather frustrating, as I had to plan very carefully what folders I wanted
to make use of in ZC, as they would be a permanent part of my directory. And I
am still not at the point where I can predict which folders I will and will not need.

I found a minor bug. If you create 2 items using the same Bomb class and have them both Remote, when you try to set the second one, it triggers the first to explode instead of allowing you to place the second bomb.

It runs on Lion. Wonder what happened with the other one.

Don't ask me icon_smile.gif .gbs files just would not appear on the load list for me in 1331,
and I could only get some .nsf files (but not others) to work (also in 1331).

There seems to be something wrong with vertical screen scrolling (although horizontal works fine).
Also, when pressing against a solid combo, Link will only walk in place if he is facing left.

Can you be a little more specific what does solidity have to do with screen scrolling.

Each sentence is a separate issue.

FACE PALM!

Oh I get it now. Vertical scroll should be 8 tiles at once unless smooth scrolling is on. I believe that's what the quest rule is called.

As for combos. You should report a bugreport on agn. Once it's back up.

I'm not seeing either of those... Is there any way you could get a video?
