I have the boomerang upgrade....its that one room (where you have to use the new boomerang) in a cave somewhere that I can't find again....fairly sure that is an importanat room but , for the life of me, I just can't remember where that one room is again

you boomer is upgraded so should boost those round white rockys on the floor, from starting point go left after yu pass thee mold cavern then go up climb a wall and you'll see a white rock on the left way down,, your boomerang should bost that rock out of yur way, so you can go down,,, if you can't do it, I'll post a pic...!

My boomerang is not clearing those rocks.....are you sure of that???

You need to get the Power Amulet or whatever it's called out of the Grand Kettle in Bell first. It's not too tough to find. The Boss Key can be found by pushing a block in a room in north-western F-1. Also you can walk on jam when it's not melted.

That's not even the strangest thing I've said all day.

What?? so I was wrong all the time? mmm though the boomer open that -well I had the amulet of power and didn't know what's for -- then I need to find its location so Chief can go and get it ,, got to go back - dodn't remember where I found it!

mmm... the worm transportation make one stop at bell (back side), maybe I found it in there.. will check today!!

Back to Kettle...been thru there thoroughly, but knowing some thing is there might be my ticket...thanks to both of you for helping the blind   I know where the chest is....matter of finding the boss key.

 

Kettle - has "levels" of heat intensity whereby "1" can be changed to "2"  (that I found a while back)  Am hoping the boss key is on one of those two heat intensities ( I've pushed blocks in the NW of F1 previously and they warped me to a different position)  Let's give it the old college try once again and see if we get a different result ...

Yeah, the screen to the left of the entrance that has a chest on the other side of a jam lake, don't even bother with that room. You'll be warped there from the northwest side of F-1. It has two gray armored shielded Moblins in it. Push a block there.

There is also a screen somewhere with two + shaped formations of blocks in it. Push the bottom block of the left + to the right. There's a warp under it.

Though I was just playing through it, and the dungeon has quite a few bugs in it. (Which won't be fixed, so I'm just saying it to warn y'all.) One of the lockblocks is lowered by default on one of the burn settings if you come up the stairs from the right direction. .. or the wrong direction, rather.

Anyway, you can get the Power Amulet when there is no heat on the floor with the big chest. The eggs may be in the way, but the jam is solid, so you can just walk around the kettle.

I love how this dungeon is making me speak.

Thanks so much.....will tackle this tomorrow....I had noted previously  that the chest is approachable when the heat is at its lowest....the crux of the matter is getting the boss key....this quest is such a brilliant effort, hard to just walk away from it.

I've done that warp before and again now (on both heat intensities - does not take me to boss key).  Where (what room ) has the boss key????  Another head scratcher for me

It's the one where the heat is on medium. Stand on the melted egg, and push the block down. My apologies, the room's enemies seem to change with the heat level. Isn't that odd?

Sorry....."melted eggs" are everywhere, let me check the NW for melted eggs...

What exactly does this power amulet do....it's not moving the white sparkly rock Vravelo was talking about.....but it has moved some things

Yeah, like I said, it was the same room, just in a different heat setting. Again, my apologies. I could've sworn I had pushed that block in heat setting 2. Whatever.

Yes....now where is Sandsheer...man, I've been thru a lot Sandsomething caverns!!!  An ginormous quest!!

 

Also found a maze in Tuton Caves....happen to know the solution??....what the heck...I'll find it the hard way!!
