Here's another one. I really hate it when people say things like "should of" rather than "should have", neglect using apostrophes in words that should have them, or use the wrong "your/you're" or "there/their/they're". I never correct anyone out of fear of being called a grammar Nazi, but I cringe when people do that kind of stuff. That's, like, 2nd grade English right there that grown people mess up.

Yeah, that bothers me too. I always prefer when people use proper grammar. I often cringe when people say things like "thrus" instead of "thus" icon_heh.gif I often find that little problems in grammar, such as "there/their/they're", bother me more than large spelling issues or things like that. For some reason, little errors bother me more than large ones. With grammar, at least.

Okay, I've got another secret. For some reason, I only date women whose parents I respect. If I don't know a woman's parents, I don't date her. Also, women with parents who I don't like, I don't date. For me, it seems, that I value a woman's family as much as I value her herself. Which can even be a problem sometimes. It feels like I care too much about their family, but it seems like something I can't really change myself out of. I tried, but it doesn't work. And I know that I should judge women for who they are instead of the type of family they've grown up in, but I can't seem to change my opinions on women who have no family, or whose families are rude to me. icon_shrug.gif

While I don't like to judge a girl by her parents unless she shares their beliefs/etc., I can totally understand the desire to have respectable...okay, I'll say it...in-laws. After all, if all goes well, they will be family someday.

If you know you love someone, it's probably not right to judge them by their family. But if you're just shopping around, it's okay to use a few guidelines to help you decide where to start looking.

I dated a guy who had been with a couple guys in his past... Like, sexually. Is that weird?

But I guess that's more his secret than mine... :O

Actually, it's not that uncommon that guys... mess around with other guys. Just sayin'.
And no, it's not exactly weird. And in case you are afraid he might cheat on you because of his past experiences than I'd say that's no valid reason. I mean, if he's the type of guy who cheats on his partners than it doesn't even matter much if he's into girls or guys or both. Unless he's only into guys in which case you might be his alibi-girl friend. Whatever.

So a little secret about me, let's see... I always choose my underwear to go with the rest of my outfit. That's actually quite important to me. I guess I'm quite the fashion-whore. It doesn't bother me much most of the time, though (only when I spend too much money on clothes D: ).

Here's another one far y'all.

I talk to myself. Not to have an actual conversation or anything; just to hear my ideas vocally to see if there's anything wrong with them in the spoken word. I also do this with my plans for the day to make sure I understand what I need to do, what I want to get done and all that crap and make sure that nothing sounds off. I guess talking to myself is the wrong way of putting it; I like think aloud to myself. And I only do it when I think I'm alone. (I've had it happen where someone came in from behind while I was thinking aloud. XD) It makes planning crap and getting ideas straight much easier for me. :3

I have one for you...

I have a crush on this girl, through I only just (2 weeks ago.) meet her. Her voice was so soft and her hair was brown and she has green eyes. She likes to draw like me, and likes music. I dunno if I should say "Do you wanna go out?" if say that she and me would have a massive broken bridge between us. It was a least 2 weeks until she said "You wanna go out?" I was so shocked when I heard she a crush on me too. Oh my god I felt dumb...

Eh, biggest secret from me.

I secretly really like cheesy music. Like lots of 80's hair metal and stuff like that. It just really appeals to me for some reason...

I like the Carpenters!!! icon_smile.gif

On a more sensible (?) note, I have an intense phobia of moths. I hate them more than any other bug/insect/whatever.

If it's a "secret" about music, then mine would be that I don't understand why people hate Nickelback, if they actually do without it being heavily sarcastic. Some of the songs have great lyrics with a good rhyme scheme and a heavily impactial meaning that I can actually interpret properly.

I like a couple of Nickelback's songs, but I think the reason people think all of their songs "sound the same" is because Chad's vocal range isn't great. His voice isn't bad, but his range is pretty limited, which doesn't leave a whole lot of options for writing the vocal score of the music. I could be wrong, but that's an observation I've made over the years. I do think a lot of people bash them just because they think it's cool, though. Sort of like Justin Beiber. He's done nothing wrong, other than gain the attention of an incredible amount of tween/teen girls, which (last I checked) isn't a crime. In my opinion, his music isn't great, but that doesn't mean he deserves to be constantly bashed the way he is.

I'm not sure if I'm making any sense, so I'm going to stop talking, now.

Now, on topic...

I went to see The Lion King on tour. But that's not really the secret. In all honesty, I almost cried, which isn't exactly a normal thing for me. I was so speechless by the end of the performance I felt like a nut.

Also, I was in a stage production of High School Musical. After that, I went through a phase in which I thought the movie was given a bad wrap simply because of it's Disney origin. Now, I wonder if somebody was slipping me something in my drinks, because I can't stand the show at all.

I should stop talking musical theater, now.

Nickelback is a great band. I also don't no why people say they hate it. Probably no lifed trolls. There are some really suckish songs Like something in your mouth. That's just terrible.
