Have either of you found the halfway point? There's a hidden lock block early in the sideview section that makes a portal at the beginning of the dungeon. I assure you, I have beaten this level. Multiple times. You do know you can swim around in S'novuh shores and find a cave with a potion shop at the end, right?

I finished level 7, Pokemonmaster Got Nayru's Love and Farore's Wind, too. Now I'm exploring the clouds.

Got the red ring, now I want to get outta the clouds. Is there a shortcut or am I doomed to retrace my steps through level 7? The ocarina doesn't fly me back to the ground....

You have to climb back down level 7. I think if you get hit by a whirlwind, it should take you to the beginning.

Nope. Everytime I get caught by a whirlwind, I get wizzed to the cloud world. Every. Time. sigh....

Can you make an update, making whirlwinds take us to the Level 7 entrance on the other end? Thanks!

That's weird, because according to the quest, the cloud world allows whistle whirlwinds...Are you sure you've tried the whistle there?

When I whistle anywhere in the cloud tops, I get the tune, but no whistle whirlwind comes to take me away. Maybe it doesn't work when whirlwind wizrobes are on the same screen?

That's very odd. Here is the fix you wanted. I added teleporters in the rupee room.

Thanks! I'm back on terra firma again. But, just so you know, the whistle whirlwind doesn't work anywhere.

Can you change builds? You NEED whistle functionality to get the final form of the final boss and best ending/credits.

I'm using the latest beta: 1318 for windows. I don't think I can go down in beta, but only up. I'll experiment and let you know


Okay, Pokemonmaster, I tried the 1296 build, since 1286 is for Mac (and I have windows). The whistle "functionality" (being transported) still didn't work. Did you make whistle pads elsewhere in the quest that will trigger changes when the whistle is blown? If so, it may still work, since there's the "pause" when I blow the whistle.

I can't get the key in here - it disappears as I walk toward it. In an earlier attempt at this game I was able to get it, but I hadn't been to level 1 yet. I'm using 1296.

Hey, schoochie! You have to kind of weave your way between the rupees, until you pick it up. Try not to touch the rupees.

Is "A Romhack" level 8? I haven't played Mario Bros. in 20 years! My jumping skills are about the same: me AND the computer jump together (look like I'm afflicted with some sort of disorder) .
