You sort of have to use star power at the solo if you want to pass "One" and as for "Raining BLood" that's pretty much the hardest song in carer mode due to "mosh1", "mosh2" and "flood"
Good Luck!

I beat "One." I actually got 70 percent on the really really fast part. You've just got to strum up and down as fast as you can, despite the fact that they're hammer-ons, because you're bound to miss a lot.

No matter how much i try, Raining blood is giving me troubles. I did play Through the Fire and Flames on expert, i managed to bet 70% on practice mode.

If it's the first part with all the pull-offs that's giving you grief, just strum fast, and WATCH THE ORANGE NOTES! Seriously, I found it really hard to keep in time, but now I breeze through that song. Just watch the orange notes. When the orange note comes, go down four, shift your hand down, then go down four again. Rinse and repeat.

Man, I feel noobish. I've only beat the game on medium. Anyway, anyone else struggle on dealing with those reverse notes that get thrown at you in battles? I finally resorted to a little bit of cheating (I used a big mirror, hehe) and now most guitar battles are pretty tame.

The songs in this game could be better, but other than that, GH3 ROCKS! icon_wink.gif
I haven't played the game many hours but I'm already playing at the HARD difficulty level and I'm doin allright. Yeah!

Ebola - although the battles are a good idea, if you do them on Expert, the first time you're attacked you almost automatically die.

well...IT'S ABOUT TIME I finally beat Tom and slash last night. Though, I still cannot beat Lou. I keep trying that trick that NoEL said, but I can't get it.

If you get "Whammy" in the middle of One's Solo, there is no possible way you could not fail.

Wow, I seem to have a problem. Easy is too easy, and medium is too hard. The battles (at least on easy) are a piece of cake though. The first time I ever played the game, I beat Lou (using by brother's alreasy completed file).
