Looks like they've got some new stuff.
Among other things:
Fox's moves (carried over from SSBM)
Zelda is a confirmed character, in her TP look. Shiek is not.
Lylat Cruise is a new stage. Looks schweet.
Ocarina of Time Medley. Combines the Song of Storms, Epona's Song, Song of Time, Saria's Song, and more into one song. Sounds pretty awesome, too.

I do believe this thread badly needs a bump. Why? CHECK OUT TODAY'S UPDATES!!!!!
This is probably the best thing to appear in a Smash game since Poke Balls. They're called Assist Trophies (like the trophies you collected in Melee). They are items on the battlefield, and they summon certain characters to assist you, including Hammer Bros., a Nintendog, and even SAMURAI GOROH!!!
This opens up an opportunity for EVEN MORE characters to appear in Brawl who cannot become playable characters due to lack of fighting moves or their body structure (example: Octorok from the Zelda series). Discuss!!!

It just seems as if all these assist trophies will do will slash and such. It's probably just going to be similar to some kind of pokemon that just stands there and unleashes its attack, then vanishes.

Yeah. That's basically what it is, another Pokeball that uses different franchises. The characters coming out are invincible, so they can't stay on the screen for long. The only real thing different is that you can't control where they come out, like with pokeballs. Grab the item, they get summoned, they either go after a foe for a short time, or do something to the entire screen. WAIT A SEC THIS SOUNDS FAMILAR.
An avoidable pokeball. That's all.

Yeah cause Pokeballs with different franchises is terribly original. I even wanted Goroh to be playable too. Who's next, Ridley?

I just saw Bowser, and BOY! Bowser looks even meaner than he looked in Melee. I mean, check out those eyebrows! Man, he obviously looked like Melee didn't give him enough smashing pleasure, so now he's back for more!

I can only describe Bowser's look and return in one word: Brutal.
