well yeah, I beat that too. I beat Ice Temple and Ganon's Tower. Did I miss the Farore's Wind somewhere?

And where do I fight Tremna?

Farore's Wind is in Hyrule Castle. You need to head to the second floor and get rid of the barrier with your Trinity Sword.

Tremna is the boss of Level 9. To get there, head to the ruins and lower the Blue Barrier with the wand. If you notice that the monsters disappear and reappear, it just means you're passing the Level 9 room. It only happens once.

What is level 3? I'm sure it's on Death Mountain in the Light World.

You're right that it's on Death Mountain in the Light World. First of all, did you get the pass needed to get into Death Mountain? You have to use your Level 2 Sword on the jammed door in Kakariko's Inn to get it. Once you're on Death Mountain, look for a warp to the Dark World. Afterwards, you need to find the warp that will take you back to the Light World Death Mountain, but to the right of the entrance. Then all you need to do is keep travelling to the left until you see a tower. One of the Goriyas there has the key to the entrance.

Greetings... first time poster here.

I'm afraid the little rafting problem at the end of level 2 is also in version 2.10, because I ran across that same problem when I tried to grab the triforce. The way to solve it? Make sure you walk DIRECTLY in the middle of the path... ie walk in between the two raft points. If you walk to either side, you raft a loop and must burn a continue.

schoochie662: you must be using 2.11 with this, because one of my beta-testers had the same problem. For a strange reason, the raft flags behave independently in 2.11, as opposed to together in 2.10. The Ring of Fire is after Level 2. You need to go inside the house next to the volcano and take the stairs. You'll end up in the tunnel leading to the volcano. Once you get out, all you need to do is climb the volcano.

Now, comes my questions. I'm sure with my 15 hearts that I should be finding the Magic sword by now. I have just completed level 4 and got stuck trying to get into level 5. What/where did I miss?

EDIT: When I said I was stuck trying to get into level 5. I meant I was stuck IN level 5. I walked about 3 screens and got trapped with all the tombstones blocking my way. I did find your hidden magic replenish room just fine.

You didn't miss anything. The Level 3 Sword is not until after Level 7. To get to Level 5, first buy a Red Potion in the shop in the Northeast corner of the Dark World. Then, head to the Island where Level 1 is. You know the sharp "grass"? Well, with the Ring from Level 4, you can walk over it, but it quickly drains your magic. That's why I suggested the potion. In the middle of the Island is Level 5.

Oh yeah, thanks for bringing up the idea of how to get to the Triforce. I've always gone through the middle of the two docks, so I never actually saw it. But I have updated the quest, so there is an alternate raft path. I'm hoping PureZC will update, soon, so the updated version will be in the database.

Trinity Worlds now has an update! That means that the continue bug in Lake Hylia is fixed, the blocks that appear are now completely permenant, and there are two more raft paths to the second Triforce Piece. Hopefully, this should help clear away enough of those bugs that managed to evade my sights. icon_slycool.gif

finished level three and went looking for the shield - according to the forum, enter the dark world
west of the castle, and find the rock with the odd diagram and hit with t he boomerang and it will
lower the blocks and you can buy the shield - however when i did this and enter the room it isn't a store but a warp choice to the mountain east or the beach.

i am not ready to attempt level four without a shield

your help would be appreciated

My mistake. I forgot to mention there were two of those. One's a three-stair warp. The other leads to an actual town. The other one is just a few screens away from the other, on the west side of the Dark World.

Should I buy the Red Candle or buy the Shield?

Both of them are pretty important. But, if I were to say which to buy in order, I would save up for the flippers in the Northeast corner of Hyrule, first. I would buy the Magic Shield second, and the Candle third.
