Getting the triforce in the forest dungeon is different in this newer version. You have to get to the room where you got the wallet while still being able to use your b-item so you will need the fire boomerang. I can't remember the exact path but you either go one room or two rooms up and right and then work your way down stunning the bubbles with the boomerang so you end up back at the bottom layers of rooms but still able to use your b-button and then just work your way to the right until you get to the wallet room and then bomb the top wall to get the triforce.

Can't help with the boomerang game, never could do it myself.

Not really, it's as bad as it looks. Make sure you have all your bomb upgrades and be sure to get down to one the batwizards through to the right of the beginning room and the whirlwind wizards when you get to them, you don't want to be trying to kill a bunch of them when you're stuck in those little passage ways. Be sure to be on the lookout for walkthrough walls.

As you clear the robber roooms it does get easier. Might consider giving the hearts in those first 2 or 3 rooms if you get really frustrated because those are the worst.

At first, you should pay heart container ,and learn the structure of the robber's mansion.

And in boomerang mini game.
The boomerang can be bent by pushing the direction key at the same time as
throwing out.
But it's very difficult.

I remember when I was a little kid and I loved to play Zelda on my old Nintendo. Every spare moment I'd play it and play it and play it. A few years back I got Zelda classic and the custom quests were good but they were not addictive. I got your quest about 2 weeks and I can quite honestly say I was a little kid once again. I was just so hooked on Armageddon quest and Armageddon Quest forever - the best quests of all time in my opinion - and I've played many custom quests.

Your quests have everything in them OUCH! Everything from immunity within a like-like, to gambling, to defeating 9 blue darknuts using a mirror shield, to using a lantern to get past spikes. The construction of the dungeons is so ingenious and well-constructed. My favourite were the robber rooms in level 8. Those were true winners. But almost as good were the rooms where link was without sword and inventory trying to sneak past a bunch of powerful bad guys. And who could forget the room with the conveyor belts and the sword throwing death-knight? I thought that was impossible until I figured out the strategy.

I think I might have outsmarted you on one point though although it may have been an ingenious trick on your part. In the robber mansion, there is a robber room with ice on the side and two conveyor belts, one on the bottom and a smaller one near the right. Entering the room on the left, it is possible to pay the robber. You have to first shoot the robber so that his fires start firing at you. Then, standing on the third ice block up, shoot a lantern fire downwards. If you get the timing right the robber's fire's beams should strike Link in the back and propel him onto his own fire. Once on Link is on his own fire, move left and Link should be propeled onto the conveyor belt.

Anyway, these were brilliant quests OUCH! Don't get put off by people saying its too hard and rating it a 0, they are just newbies icon_smile.gif Every trick in Zelda gameplay was used and I found plenty of puzzles like the "Watch this room carefully" room. Thanks so much for making it.

It is wonderful sentences where love to your Zelda is felt.
At the same time, it was proven that you were a great ZC player. icon_thumbsup.gif

BUT, i still don't have the ladder >_< and it's worrying me (mostly about that shop's content)

Dorian, if you are to overcome the firespitting gleeok you must NOT think like an average Zelda player. An average Zelda player would see like-likes as a huge threat to them. But you must see like-likes as your friend!!! In that room, you have to get caught by a likelike in a position such that you are able to strike at the head of gleeok with your wand tip. When you are inside the like-like you will be completely immune to its fire and can strike at it at will. OUCH! you are a genius for thinking about doing this. I knew about this trick but its only in your quest that I've seen it implemented.

A tip for level 6 when you are fighting invisible wind spitting wizrobes - use the f3 key to pause the screen so you can see where they are about to fire.

A tip for level 7, you don't have to beat the deathknight in the room with the bubbles to get the triforce. Think about the areas you can now explore with a firerang...

A tip for level 8...well read my tribute post to OUCH!

I got the fire boomrang so I had to use the same technique you're talking about (with bubbles) (even if I used the lantern in the end)

My problem is to get through all rooms to this one with enough health.
and my sword is powerfull, a likelike won't last long and i'll get hurt by fire when the likelike is dead

I know that too

You cannot use your sword in the B button pyramid (level 5 for me). So, only the tip of the magic wand can hurt the fire gleeok. A fresh like-like can take up to 5 stabs of a magic wand tip. Plus I've noticed that if you get it right, you can prevent damage to the like-like which is giving you immunity. This occurs if you are "up" and when you strike you hit the gleeok. No damage is inflicted on the like-like if you hit the gleeok. So, in theory, you could be immune forever!! icon_biggrin.gif

To get to the gleeok room, I suggest that you bring plenty of money into the B button pyramid. There's a shop which sells medicine in the middle. You should clear the 4 rooms ahead of this seller and then recharge yourself to full health and a red medicine. Once you reenter the 4 rooms the enemies should be dead and this allows you the best possible chance to reach the gleeok without dying. Do not go for more than 4 rooms otherwise the enemies will reappear.

Level 7 is the forest restaurant. The boss is the sword throwing death knight. He can kill you with ONE hit since you have no ring. So, the only choice you have is to either stun him with the firerang or don't fight him at all and get the triforce by stunning the red bubbles.

Level 8 is the robber mansion. This contains the ladder. This is a VERY difficult dungeon. Do not attempt unless you have 12 or 13 hearts, magic sword, cross and heaps of money. Do not waste your life. If you do, then you'll have to pay 999 rupies to get it back. You can pay off all the robbers in the mansion but its a tough fight to be able to pay them.

Just out of curiousity, where is the boomerang mini-game? I've read several posts talking about it but never found it when I was playing Armageddon quest.

I think ('not sure) i finished forest restaurant
but the description of the triforce room you're telling me doesn't remind me of anything...
need to check
maybe i was so happy about the fire boomrang that i forgot about everything else in the dungeon.

Congrats on getting the mirror shield, it is difficult.

The forest restaurant has a room where you have to push the block at the top left of the screen. There are also ten bubbles and you can only travel on the sides. At the south of that room is a sword-throwing death knight with bubbles. You will get a heart container if you manage to stun him with the firerang and then kill him. But it is difficult. You don't have to kill him to get the triforce though.

There's a shop in the graveyard that you need a ladder to get to. In the shop, the person sells heart containers for 999 rupees. He also sells spellbook and something else I can't remember.

I still don't understand this multiwarp trick. I'm assuming it has something to do with the flute. I'll give it a try.
