I finished Pokemon Black 2 recently, so I will probably get to playing Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask soon enough. :S I'm not bothering much with the Black 2 post game yet. Maybe once I finish up Layton. I dunno yet though.

Welp, that was an anticlimactic and rushed ending. And what the hell was up with that investigation segment? That was... overly long, confusing, contrived, and far too convenient. The court part was fun... but then it got to that "anticlimactic and rushed" part. Normally this is the part of the game where you begin the final showdown, and bust the perpetrator soundly while Cornered pumps in the background. Instead, "nope, no need to prove it, the jury will decide." ... and I don't think Cornered played a single time in that last case. Which isn't that big a loss I guess, only the first game and T&T had good Cornered themes. But still. That was honestly kind of disappointing.

As much as I love Phoenix, they also featured him far too much; what was the point of making an entire new cast if you're just gonna shunt them aside in favor of Phoenix anyway? Apollo himself is basically an afterthought in the end. It was all about how Phoenix Wright saved the day once again. Not that that's a bad thing since, again, I love Phoenix, but all the effort to create a new cast and setting end up feeling like a waste of time in the end. icon_shrug.gif

^ Agreed.

I think ATLUS dethroned SquareEnix as the RPG king. Radiant Historia is the best unappreciated JRPG on the DS. You'll learn how overpowered Aht is. icon_naughty.gif

Me and my brother has been playing Co-op on Resident Evil 5 a lot lately. I mean a lot. we found the best chapter for money finally! Its the caves chapter.
And we are at the end now though. just got to beat Wesker. This should be easy. With my bro having unlimited revolver ammo icon_razz.gif.

But I have to say this is a great game!

Well, I beat Assassin's Creed 3. Not since Sonic Colors have I been so disappointed over such a hyped game. It had its moments sure, but the main mission were boring, Connor wasn't that interesting of a character, the combat was horrible, and the ending was just... pure s***. Mass Effect 3-tier s***. This wasn't the ending the series deserved.

Worked my way most of the way through the main story in PMD: Explorers of the Sky. Just beaten Quicksand Cave and am getting ready to tackle Crystal Cave.
My thoughts on the game so far (despite this being my third playthrough of PMD2):
The additions to the game that Sky brought to the table that I've seen so far have been a mixed bunch. The Lookalike items really feel tacked on because I have only seen them of two different items and they only really show up in the early dungeons when they should be showing up much more frequently at the point I am at. On the other hand, I really like the new Spinda Cafe because it provides a convenient (and useful!) location to use my gummies and I now can actually get good value out of my excess items that fetch for very little money at the Keckleon Markets. The improved menus are a plus, saving a lot of time in depositing my items into storage and in getting back to the Top Menu to access the Wonder Mail, Special Episodes and Friend Rescue menus. I haven't seen everything, so I should shut up now.
P.S.: Sand Veil is more broken than in the main Pokemon games.

Want another good game that is hard and fun, look no further than Touhou. Great Japanese indie SHUMP series known for its insane difficulty and it has great music to go with it.

Randomly decided to play through Portal again. Good game. Might replay Portal 2 again soon as well. Played a little NSMB Wii yesterday as well, just because.

I finished Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask. I feel so proud of myself, because for once, I actually figured everything out. Well... almost everything. The game pulled one heck of a twist out of nowhere at the end and suddenly dropped us off at a cliffhanger tying it, the Last Specter, and the Eternal Diva together in a way I wasn't expecting... and now I really want the last game. Why must it be two years off? icon_frown.gif

Games are really boring for me these days, for some reason. So I'm mostly working in GZDoomBuilder to do ... whatever ... I don't even have a level plan. icon_unsettled.gif

I'm mostly working on Dreams of Yesterday, expanding some dungeons, reworking some things so they're a bit less wonky, and trying to script a piece of meat. Badly.

I started a Nintendo 64 nostalgia-fest a couple days ago. I needed some textures for a 3D version of an area from Super Mario RPG that I'm building in SketchUp, and figured I might find something good from different N64 games. I ended up grabbing Bomberman 64, Bomberman 64: The Second Attack (never played it before), Harvest Moon 64 (New to me), Bomberman Hero, Paper Mario, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (New to me), and Donkey Kong 64 (New to me).

I started up Donkey Kong 64 for the first time the other day. Got treated to the infamous DK Rap. Not sure how I'm going to like this one, though.

My PC controller is designed after a PlayStation2 one. Anybody have any suggestions on how to set it up to play Majora's Mask comfortably?
