I'd rather hear the Ballad of the Goddess personally. I mean, it seems fitting. icon_blah.gif

Well I'll be damned, one doesn't exist (that I can find). Meh, whatever, the Fi one was alright. icon_razz.gif

That's cool. I used to play the Simpson's theme on the OoT, but that didn't need the control stick - just R/Z.

In the final analysis we have:

PAST:
1 - Ghirahim revives Demise
2 - Link seals Demise in Master Sword

PRESENT:
3 - The Imprisoned keeps breaking free of Link's seal (fulfilling Demise's threat to return)
4 - Link's Triforce wish destroys Demise (thus ending the threat)

In short, the seal the Imprisoned keeps breaking free from is the one Link made with the Master Sword in the past.

Problem here. First off, the seal is explicitly said to be the one made by Hylia. That's why Zelda had to stay in the past asleep; to strengthen the seal that she (as Hylia) made. Plus, Link never made a seal on Demise. His body was destroyed, and his consciousness was absorbed by the Master Sword, and given that evil cannot touch it, was probably immediately destroyed. Link never made a seal with that anyways; he stuck the sword in the pedestal of time.

And then on top of that, Demise doesn't claim to have revenge on Link and Zelda, but on their bloodline. Their descendants. And in addition to that, Nintendo claimed that SS would explain how Ganondorf came to be, so, well, yeah. It's obvious what's going on here, and it can't be what you've laid out.

First off, Hylia did seal Demise, but that seal was broken by Ghirahim in the past.
After that Link battled Demise, and he was sealed in the Master Sword, and that
seal did not begin to weaken until the present.

As for the curse being on the bloodline, you may be right, but that just explains
why a new evil arises, it's not like Demise can come back after SS Link's Triforce wish.

So I'd say you're half-right.

Not to nitpick, but I just beat Demise again to watch the end and he specifically says he will have revenge on the one with the blood of the goddess and the one with the spirit of the hero. So this curse may not be exactly on Link and Zelda's descendants, but whatever person gets the spirit of the hero and probably the spirit of this goddess too. (Though blood of the goddess would also suggest it could be Zelda's descendants, just I'm not sure how literal he was.)

With the rest of it, I have no clue in any way all this time stuff is supposed to work, so I don't really bother trying to figure it out.

If anyone's interested, I've started a story, called Skyward Academy Amore:

More to come, as I'm writing Chapter Two right now, and I'm almost done. It'll be up by tomorrow. It'll have homosexuality and heterosexuality romances, so read only if you're okay with those.

Kinda fake though plausible, since neither game featured such piano music.

Well, I played for the first time in about four days and managed to beat the fire sanctuary in about an hour and 20 minutes. I really enjoyed that fight with girahim, I thought I'd never get to beat the crap out of him again. I got the master sword and then saved and got off so I could do homework and skype with my girlfriend. I'm a bit disappointed in the 5th boss. my friend said it was ridiculous and that it was challenging (and boy have i been looking for a challenge since I got really good with zelda) so I walk into the boss room feeling pumped and thinking that maybe this boss would put up a worthy fight....boy was I wrong.....I didn't even lose a quarter of a heart on my first go. You don't know how disappointed I was. Oh well, still a few more things to fight. I hope this Demise is a challenge, I don't want to face any more wimps, I want a good fight that will leave my saying "Oh sh**!".

Lol, the backing track was obviously added later, but the ocarina score is done with the game.

Did anyone else find the fetch quests towards the end quite tedious, and feel that they were an attempt to artificially extend the game? So far, I think it was great up will the Fire Sanctuary. The Faron Woods fetch quest was almost enough to make me drop the game, and the Eldin Volcano one seems to be pretty damn annoying.

I didn't like the Faron Woods "fetch" quest at first, but I learned to like it. I loved the Eldin Volcano one, though. so WW-ery!! icon_biggrin.gif
