I'm still praying to the Gods of gaming for a playable Olimar, though.

Now, I understand that some of the clone characters won't be back from Melee. I also wouldn't be surprised if they announced more returning characters, despite their current streak of newcomer announcements. However, I have one definite question about the cast so far:

Where's Luigi in all of this?... he's technically a Mario clone. But the only reason it's called Super Smash Bros. is because it's a Super Mario Bros. style fighting game. Removing the other brother is mean.

Will Luigi be announced, I wonder, and when? He already has Sonic to go up against, poor guy...

Most Kirby characters are elastic.



Seriously though, he's a heavyweight because the game needs a balanced fighter selection, and non-human cartoon villains make good heavyweights.

It's similar to how they found an excuse to make Link a mid-heavy.

Aww, doesn't look like he has that. His B move would probably be the same as Kirby's... though without the copy ability. Maybe it spits further and harder.

I'm guessing Luigi will be a secret character. He was in the first two Smash games. You can see that none of the four original secret characters from the original have been announced as of yet. For those of you at home who haven't been keeping track, that's Luigi, Falcon, Jiggly, and Ness. It's very possible that those four will be secret here. Yes, I know that Falcon and Ness weren't secret in Melee, but still, isn't it a bit odd that all the originals have been announced except the four orignal secret characters?

I tried to stop looking at the Dojo. Lasted for one day. Currently going there to check today's update. Hope it's good. =)

Edit: Okay, honestly, I made a fool of myself there. Right, no update today. Wow.
