Level 5 boss, kil the blue things that spit, kill the 2 death touch guys, shoot the 3 balls with awesome arrows, get killed, get revived, avoid fire chips, shoot hands, then he changes to an ugly blob. I keep shooting him and finally he starts shooting this huge light beam at me accoss the screen, was able to avoid the first, but shortly thereafter he shoots asecond that as soon as it hits me I die. How do I avoid this or protect myself from it?

You don't protect yourself, its impossible to protect yourself unless you happen to be in the right place as he shoots it. Furthermore, fire at him RIGHT before or RIGHT after his beam attack as his eyes glow.

I am at the lava pit that the amulet is suppose to be, I've done everything, and even bombed like it showed on the map, and nothing...

Also went to next screen right where it says to whislt, and I whistled all over that screen, even below where the ladder (may) let down, and nothing....

Am I SOL ?.....lol

Help

That whistle part got me, too. Keep walking in and around the dried-depressed part and whistle whistle whistle...

The map is misleading about the amulet. You need to let some hands grab you, so you open shortcuts below and eventually find your way to the amulet.

I'm at level two, and after wandering for hours I don't know where to go. The last productive thing I did was bomb that fireball shooting plant thing that sucks you in and tries to eat you.

To make it simple, let the hands by the wasteland shop grab you first. Activate the switch underground there. Then exit wastelands and then go back in. From the shop, go right two screens, and two up. (I think) and let the hands grab you there. That gives you access to the other switch and ultimately the amulet you've been striving for.
And Granny, just curious, how old are you? If its what I think it is, that's cool that you love Zelda. *hugs*

Okay, did you get the key the plant was guarding? If so, go find the big chest which contains the Power Rod.
Wanna know how to get to the chest? Here's a clue: http://youtube.com/watch?v=mjr6-zCUfqo

Oh Granny, you don't know how happy it makes me to know that people from 10 year olds to over 50 year olds play and enjoy this game. ^_^

Thank You Peteo and DFW you make me feel young. I Love Zelda games, it keeps me alive and my mind as sharp as a needle, keeps my brain exercised and witty. And really Thank You the creators of such wonderful games.

By the way I still have not found my way to the amulet... Sheesch!!!! Confusion abounds me

Congrats! icon_wink.gif Now you can see in the Master Dome dungeon, but it isn't wise to enter that hidden dungeon before you are well prepared.

My turn for reviewing I guess.

I played this quest on ZC 2.5 build 613, the latest Mac OS X Build, mainly to see how well it would hold up. Since I got through, I might as well review.

Graphics: Simple: I was stunned. Nicely done, and I didn't notice any map blemishes. The enemies, both old and new, had a good look to them too, even what looked like Smiling Deathbos.

Sound/Music: I'll admit that not much can be done with sound unless you use a SFX dat file, so I'll skip that one. For the music choices, though, all of them kept me going...except one: the Castle level. Once I heard this music, I was reminded of Hidden Duality's level 4, which was a long and confusing maze...this was ALSO one of those, but much WORSE! I dreaded this level...and yet I think that's a good thing.

Subscreen/Status Bars: Clean, consistent look throughout. I also liked (and disliked) how the positions of the B button items were changed around. Still, the fact that it was done...have to give credit.

Scripting/Cutscenes: This isn't NES Zelda! This is...much more! And it shows with the detail from each little area where a script or cutscene takes place.

Enemies: One complaint. NEVER use those style of Windrobes ever again! The rest are fine, and kept me on my toes, but...not those Windrobes...

Last Leg of the game: Maybe it's just me, but when I died during the final boss and had to replay it, some parts just...skipped over. Otherwise, my attention was kept, and the parts right after...without spoiling anything, GOOD GRIEF THAT WAS TOUGH!

Might as well give a score now: 10/10

I honestly can't argue with this quest...much.

Oh yeah: final stats. 175 game overs: 50 from the 2nd triforce dungeon, 40 or so from Master Dome. 26 hours to complete, missed 8 heart pieces and one magic upgrade. I also got the master dome prize before I was supposed to, apparently (no Dragonscale Mail needed for me!)
