Weird.
I hope you can draw your own stages as well :3

I really like Peach's final smash.
I won't be using it but I like how the game has something for everyone, Peach being the coward who likes to heal and take cheap shots *shifty eyes*
All Final Smashes are about taking cheap shots; that's the point.
Nice to see a forum out there that hasn't exploded with people complaining about the lack of wavedashing in Brawl. After E for All, the smash community exploded.
Thumbs up from Fox.
I hated wavedashing. I never learned how to use it. I prefer fighting games where the game is about spontaneously deciding how to react to your opponent's choice of attacks, not using some obscure and extremely difficult technique to subvert the intended limitations of the system to a drastic degree.
Admittedly, it did look cool...
EDIT:
DARK LINK IS PLAYABLE!!! (as a costume)
Oh, also, Peach's Daisy costume is back. I guess that means we probably won't be seeing the real Daisy as a last-minute character announcement...

That is exactly what I thought when I first looked at it. The wording was weird and I thought that you could draw your own stage until I looked at the pictures and saw that the fire drawing was burning the characters, and the wind was blowing them, etc. but that would be interesting if you could. lol

*Was a very frequent Wavedasher* ;_;
... But Oh GOOD GOD I hope they preserve the crouch-cancel.

Interesting stage. I want to play on this to see how it goes. Nintendo is definitely thinking outside the box with this game.

Hopefully that means his rancher outfit is available too. It'd be funny to see him using the wooden sword... but at least it'd be more accurate than the sword he's using currently

- Wavedashing has indeed been removed. However,
airdashingWavelanding has not been. You can still slide onto slippery surfaces from landing on them from the air. - L-Canceling is now moot, as it happens automatically. There are no extended animation frames to have to cancel out of. It's all the same speed ratio now.
- Ledge-Grabbing is now a lot easier. You don't have to be facing the ledge, nor fall from above it to catch it. You just go near it and you practically snap to it.
(EDIT: Yeah, it was Wavelanding. That's what I meant. Haven't heard the term applied to the action.)

Okay guys. Here's the story with the advanced stuff:
- Wavedashing has indeed been removed. However, airdashing has not been. You can still slide onto slippery surfaces from landing on them from the air.
- L-Canceling is now moot, as it happens automatically. There are no extended animation frames to have to cancel out of. It's all the same speed ratio now.

Wavelanding is also in.
I for one am happy that the game is changing. This isn't supposed to be Melee 1.5. It's supposed to be a new game, and it'll play differently. I enjoyed the exploits in Melee, but I want something new here. Hopefully we'll see a better game in Brawl.

Also, HeavyTitanium, I told you!!!! I told you Sonic would be on SSBB. The second Snake was mentioned to be on SSBB. That gave me enough reason to think Sonic is on the game. XD /me hugs HT
