Skyward Sword gave me inspiration :3
I'm going to start a new quest soon using many of the elements from Skyward Sword. I'm focusing on how to incorporated a treasure/upgrade/crafting system without the use of scripting. Hopefully I'll be able to do that with the extra counters for treasures and string control codes for checking which level item Link has, then checking if Link has enough treasures, then replace whatever he's trying to upgrade with the new item and removing the correct amount of treasures.
Well, I still have to actually finish Skyward Sword before I can start that, I finished the 5th dungeon yesterday!

Damn Jared, you are fast!
Along with alot of other people that have beaten the game already.
there's absolutely nothing wrong with playing through a game fast, (It's hard to put the controller down when it's such a good game) but I prefer to savor the awesomeness of a game so epically awesome

Well, I wanted to get it out of the way so it didn't get in the way of college, so that's why I rushed through it.

I just finished up the fourth dungeon, and am ready to enter the fifth. I have to say, the third dungeon is my favorite so far. It really felt like a 3D game boy dungeon to me. It was also a 'theme' never before seen in a 3D Zelda, to an extent. Also, the
So far, I can see how many plot/ story elements are things that can be "seen" or "mentioned" in later games in the time line.

I just finished it. Nintendo compensates the "Ocarina of Time #4" effect with a legendary story. Yes, legendary. It's not just the same rehashed crap from the past 20 games. It touches on the basics (save the princess, link, master sword, bow and arrows!) but does something completely different with it all. The gameplay (literally, in regards to the wiimote and the wiimotion plus integration) is pretty great. The only awkward things were swimming and rolling bombs but the tech can only do so much. That said, the actual game itself? It's a zelda game. There's dungeons, Sword n Shield usage, and enemies to poke holes in. Graphics? If you want realism go look out your goddamned window. The music was mundane in parts but that's not to say it didn't fit the environment like a glove.
There's my summary. I know someone's gonna complain about spoilers so here's another one: Eastmost Peninsual is the secret.
Controls: 9/10
Gameplay: 7/10
Story: 11/10
Graphics: 8/10
Music: 10/10
Worth the $50/$70?: ∞^2
