Yeah. Just like New England. It's just like actual England, so why even bother?They put the word "New" in front of Hyrule, but it it honestly that different? Didn't feel like it.

Ugh, I never even realized it was called that in Spirit Tracks 
I like the graphics on DS mostly, even without WW-quality. What I really hate though is the land in spirit-tracks. While the enemies on sea in Phantom Hourglass sure are annoying and the game could need an update in that regard, Spirit Tracks is pure hell, even slower cause the tracks and the land looks so horrible compared to the sea. Just imagine what a beautiful landscape it could have, remembering WW, and what huge potential the train-driving has, interesting battles, hidden secrets on the way... I actually only watched videos, but for that part alone I consider making it a Zelda-game I don't want to play.

That's kinda what the Deku Tree wanted the Koroks to do. But.. The logistics. But we're also taking about a region where lakes and mountains shift every few centuries for no reason.The plan was not to drain the ocean, just connect all the islands together through tree roots or some shit. No, it makes no sense, but it's there.

Two of them remakes, one of them half a remake, another an exceedingly average multiplayer-focused title. I love A Link Between Worlds, but the 3DS could have done better in the "original Zelda" department.

Yeah, ALBW did start as a remake. It kind of took me a few playthroughs for that game to grow on me. I love it now, but at first, I was wishing it was just an AlttP remake. Nintendo could make some extra pocket change if they would just get some people to make another "OoT" style Zelda on 3DS. It doesn't have to be some massive, canon, installment, but it would be neat, and profitable. Hell, I kind of miss the quirky, weird Zeldas like LA, and the Oracle games, and even Minish Cap. The last few installments (including BotW) appear to be very, "help Zelda, beat Ganon/ Demise/ Yuga, save HYRULE". As mentioned above, I think TWW visuals could look really nice on 3DS, and it would even hide the system's relative weaknesses not unlike TWW did for GCN. (Even though GCN was the most powerful console out of the three at the time).

In all seriousness, New Hyrule felt pretty different to me. Just a somewhat uninspired name.
Glad it worked out for you. To me it felt like they could have just added trains to the original Hyrule and I wouldn't notice.

Based on a comment by Game Informer, it seems dungeons are separate from shrines after all, or at least, they made a clear distinction between the dungeon they played and the shrines they discovered. Link does not speak a sentence, and he can wear green. He also has no family. With a pocket full of shells. Link's last name is Mario. It's "Link Mario". Or.. "Link, Link"? BotW is after OoT. Water Temple question is great. I always assumed "NX" meant, "Next Nintendo". You can't eat your horse. Dammit. Probably can't eat your companion either-- And wait. Pauline.. lives in New Donk City? That might mean-- Paper Zelda? Whaaaat? AlttP commercial not confirmed canon. All hope is lost.

Now we know why we don't have another Metroid game. If Mario Mario keeps getting games, and Link Link keeps getting games, where are all the Samus Samus games?
