Same places you normally go to level up-- Mt. Silver. If you can't get there, go to victory road. Pretty sure those are the two areas with the highest level wild Pokemon. Attach them with an exp. share if they are too weak to battle themselves, which will most likely be the case. Heck, while you're at it, attach a lucky egg to whoever you have doing all the work.

OR, trainer rematches work wonders. Especially if you only need to level up something to, say, 36-ish.

BTW, that link sounded sort of like classic Pokemon battle music mixed with Through the Fire and Flames. Hah.

Oh yeah. Give them Exp. Share, put them out first, switch them out with a stronger Pokémon, then KO the wild one. That gives the one with the Exp. Share even more experience.

Yeah, yeah, and I personally don't care for the remixed soundtrack in HG/SS at all, but a lot of people like it. We're all entitled to our opinions; but for that scenario, I just couldn't resist. icon_deformed.gif

Personally, I like the new soundtrack. Now that I have the GB Sounds, I normally have it on, but the new tracks are still good. Especially the battle music. All of them are great. And all the Japanese sounding ones, like Ecruteak City and Burned Tower, with the possible exception of Tin Tower.

Only the Pokecenter, Johto Battle themes, and Johto towns are in their original arrangements with GB sounds, but everything else is just reinstrumentalized. Thus, nostalgia only works in Johto. (also, they seem to be missing that sine-like waveform, so some places don't sound right.)

I'm not bothered much by the new music other than the battle themes, which just sound crowded with instruments. It's not enough to make me turn down the music, though.

On a side note (I apologize if this has already been mentioned by someone else), because of the awesomeness of Yellow Forest Pokewalker route, I now have a Pikachu with Fly and a Pikachu with Surf. I don't plan on using them competively, but the Flying Pikachu (ROFLCHU) is my fly slave until I get hold of a Tropius.

You forgot the Kanto towns, routes, and caves, minus Celadon/Fuchsia City, since the original G/S/C didn't remake the theme from R/B/Y and instead used that horrible theme that was in the other towns besides Pallet, Vermilion, and Lavender. ¬_¬

I did notice that. New Bark Town, the Johto wild Pokémon encounters, and Azalea Town (and possibly others) sound different somewhat. icon_unsettled.gif

I wonder why they randomly made GB Sounds...I mean FR/LG didn't have it. I personally love the new tracks, and how they put the whole Kanto trainer battle theme in there. If it wasn't for GBS, we could have more content icon_razz.gif.

They put it in because a huge reason why they made the game was to satisfy fans of the original. And what better way to do that (besides make the game in the first place) then to include GBS?

Just found Bugsy in Viridian Forest. Now I have three leader's numbers! Found a Pikachu in there as well. Two in a row, in fact. About time.

Because the new tracks are lame and don't do the original tracks any justice, and most of the time, "more content" means "extra, superfluous content we don't need in the first place," so I'm glad the GB Sounds is in there, because it's a perfect alternative to that bullcrap they try to call music. >:O

Gr, OHKO moves should be banned. Bugsy's Heracross killed half my team in three turns with Guillotine. Honestly, how are you supposed to have a fair match with that? Almost makes me want to catch Articuno and use the Mind Reader-Sheer Cold combo. Except that I lack the patience to train my own team that high, let alone a random legendary (even if he is my favorite).

Anyone else upset that you can't get the other starters or the Hoenn Weather Trio until you beat Red? I am. 'cause beating Red is a long ways away for me...

Three in a row? That literally has a 1-in-27 chance of happening.

Haven't had much spare time this week, but most of my team is in the mid-50s now. Haven't been training Revenant, but I probably won't use him against Red. He doesn't have any direct advantages, and I have to use an HM Slave to get to Red in the first place.

Not I. This all the more shows if you're worthy of the legends, and also fully prepares your main team for them, like a training test. After all, a crap trainer with legends just won't work icon_wink.gif.

Hey, In Emerald, I caught Rayquaza (level 70) with a team of level 42s. You don't need to be a good trainer to catch them. You just have to be patient.
