Huh? All I ever got was one of those hit marks on top of them... Unless that's what you mean.

Um... I didn't mean like it was animated to punch itself in the face. More like I imagined it to be that way. Especially since I took off the battle animations.

Does anyone else get an image of their Pokemon punching themselves in the face when they hurt themselves in confusion?

I do. And it's really funny.

Except, when you have a Pokemon like Shuckle, you have to be a little creative...

Or be really creative with Girafarig, because its two heads argue and roughhouse.

Yeah, I know now. I figured that out a while after my post.

I never visualize anything, really. Except when a Pokémon uses Strength in battle; I use my mind to add in cartoon sound effects of somebody getting beat up.

I love being able to multitask with Pokemon. I'm packing up stuff to take home whilst level grinding. Pokemon doesn't really require much thought or strategy... Especially if you're wandering around the same patch of grass and running into the same three Pokemon. I'll be ready to fight Red and move back home in no time

Oh gosh, I want to slit Blue's throat with a knife right now. I finally beat his Machamp, and it was done to my Ampharos vs. his Pidgey. He got a critical hit and won. Words cannot express how much hate I have for him right now.

So ya, I'm really tempted to bring in Arceus and just mow him down right now.

...but other than that, I've been playing Platinum. I'm at Soleceon Town at the moment. I'm really lovin' the Sinnoh music.

So I finally beat Blue. Found out that I had a few X items stored away, and used them to turn Lapras into a tank. Got the GB Sounds, which is awesome, and listened to the game's creator talk about how hard it is to make a remake that appeals to old and new fans. Then I climbed Mt. Silver and found Red. I'm thirty levels lower than he has, so I have zero chance of beating him, but my goal is to beat his Pikachu (which I almost did). Think of the exp I'll get off him. Wish me luck.

Edit: Oh ya, and while I was going to here the GB Tin Tower music, I ran into Morty and got his phone number. Sweat.

With a little help from Silly Cat 2 again, I finally collected every single starter Pokémon to date. Now all that's left is to train them to their final forms... So far, I've done that with the Kanto and Johto starters, Torchic and Treecko, and Piplup, but I only had to evolve Piplup into its middle form since I already had an Empoleon thanks to the GTS. Now I just gotta evolve Mudkip, Chimchar, and Turtwig, then I'll feel pretty proud of myself.

I've changed my party around a bit, but only slightly. It means I'll have to train up three of them more, but that's fine, since there's so little left to do right now:

• Lv. 31 Pichu
• Lv. 62 Charizard
• Lv. 89 Pidgeot
• Lv. 88 Victreebel
• Lv. 42 Blastoise
• Lv. 86 Golem.

That's right, Typhlosion's not in the party anymore. Guess that means I should take the Charcoal and attach it to Charizard...

Well, a soon as I find my brother's DS, I'll have all the starters. Then comes the hard part: evolving them.

I'm a bit disappointed. I beat Red's Pikachu, and it gave me a pitiful amount of exp, only around 1000. Oh well, I guess I'm off to try the gym leader rematches and catch them all.

Well, it is only a Pikachu, even if it is at a high level. If it would have been a Raichu now... Well, I take it back. That would probably make my experience battling Red even harder.

So yeah, still grinding. Doing the gym leader rematch, like TS suggested (since I know you can battle them more than once per day ) My team looks like this!

Finally, got all the Hoenn and Sinnoh Sound Pokemon. No all I need to do is evolve them.

Just went to Dragon's Den to pick up the Dratini my friend told me I'd get from the master there. Boy was I surprised. A double battle with you and the rival, together!? And against Lance and Clair of all people!? Unexpected, to say the least. Personally, I'd like to be on Lance's team, but whatever. I was a little upset by the music though. They could choose from the Rival's theme, the Johto Gym Leader's theme, or Lance's theme. Instead, they go for the generic trainer battle theme. Oh well. Being 30 levels below Lance, I got my head handed to me, but at least I tried.

I read about that beforehand, and I think I didn't encounter it until well after I had beaten Red and had my team all up to level 85, so I had no problem.

I keep forgetting about that Dratini... Anyways, yeah, I had all the Hoenn Sound Pokémon and got all the Sinnoh Sound ones yesterday, as well. I just don't feel like evolving them... At least, not until I start with evolving all the Kanto Pokémon, then Johto, etc.

I've known about this song for some time, and yes, it is indeed epic. Better than the crap they actually had in the game.

Ah well, at least we have GB Sounds. As awesome as this remix is, the original's still much better.

Depends on their type and level. I usually try to grind through the early routes for Pokémon leveled 1-10, the route below Goldenrod for 11-20, and, if I needed any extra training, I usually stuck the Exp. Share to it and challenge gym leaders again.
