That Hookshottarget is not working ...

It's hard to make it catch. I got it to catch on the top edge. I was standing at the edge and lined myself up with the top of the block. Took me a couple of tries.

 

I don't know if it will work for you or not.  That's how it worked for me.

@syrianballas: Well this quest certainly isn't meant to be very easy with the overworld. To me exploration as a key factor means that you need to explore in order to progress. I also don't really understand what you mean by "invalidation of screens"? You mean that you can't go somewhere instantly?

 

@mister snooze: Those are great rock classics and I assume you found the guitar!

 

About that hookshot target... I indeed placed the trigger for the target to work too far. If you stand really close to the other side target, it works, but I'll fix it in the next update.

Go to Gergely's Advance in Krelaila Hills, speak with the commander of the fort.

 

Once you get the 999 coins wallet, go to Goldshire in Richard's Empire.

I did both of these things but the way is not open in Goldshire

This may already be here, and if so, i apologize...

 

I have been all over and cannot find level two.  all i can find is the shrine of the flow.  but i need the hookshot to do it.  I can see a goldish colored one on an island in pool of lava, but that is about it.  i cannot see any other areas to go to find this.  

 

please help

What I mean by invalidation of secrets is that they become useless. Like if you already have an item like bomb/quiver upgrades. Also golds you find seem more abundant when your wallet is small, especially when it comes from a chest. It's like why bother searching for secrets if they're going to be useless. 

 

To make rewards for extra effort worthless is extremely bad game design. If it happened once or twice, I could consider it oversight and not a big deal. It happens way too many times and seems intentional trolling.

 

Some advice:

If you are going to have something in a shop do not make it a secret reward.

If you are going to have something as a secret reward, do not put it in a shop.

 

P.S: I said "invalidation of secrets" not "invalidation of screens", please read carefully before you quote someone.

Go down from the shrine and down and around to go up into hydrill swamp, the head up and right to the woods and head right and down into the next area. In the next area head down all the way and go right and down into Lion's road and head down and left and when you see the cracked boulder bomb it and proceed left and down to Marsaille forest and the proceed along the path to the rotten grove and head left and down to get back into the forest and proceed along the path to the ruins of Charles kingdom and follow the path to the secluded bay.

You don't get the hookshot until dungeon 3.
