More info to be revealed about Sun and Moon on June 2nd. It's looking increasingly likely now that Nintendo won't be utilizing E3 for much, if they even do a Direct for it at all.

I could have sworn I read that Nintendo said they're not doing a digital event this year around E3.

I don't remember anything concrete being said, only rumors. But it wouldn't surprise me at this rate, nor would it even be a hindrance; Nintendo's Directs are wildly successful without having to be at some big convention that some analysts are saying isn't as meaningful as it used to be.

I'm probably in the minority, but i never, ever pick my starter based on the first stage. I always base it in the final evolution because that's the one i spent the most time with.

And to be honest, i actually don't care for any first stage of any starter. And that includes my favourite starters. So i have no clue on which one i'm picking.

Sun Legendary has one of the best typings in the game and the Moon legendary has one of the worst. Also new Rotom form.

Since the above post didn't mention it, here's the new trailer:

Good to know the Moon legendary can get rekt by dark types. My Sun preference is reinforced. :heh:

Oh wow, I actually like the Male trainer design more than the female design this time.

*Ahem*

Anyways, this trailer seals the deal for me. It's not just the pokemon themselves I'm hyped for. The world itself is looking fantastic, large, and explorable, which is really what I wanted to see from a Pokemon game for a long time. Most of the worlds in Pokemon are pretty small, with each area sort of acting as a zone of sorts. I'm looking forward to this game now.

I guess that setup with the dex could be cute.  But the real question is...will it turn into a "Hey, listen!  Don't explore, do this instead!" sort of thing.

I hope we can name the PokeDex, so I can name it, "Deus Ex Machina".

I don't think it will. Based on what I've seen and read, it looks like it will function similarly to the Hint Man in Earthbound, where it'll give you hints if you ask, but only if you've spoken to the person that tells you what to do.

That's looking really neat so far! I really like how the world looks and that new Rotom could be pretty interesting...

Still undecided about which game I'm gonna get though... Sun or Moon :P

Guys, Solgaleo and Lunala are obviously primal Jarachi and Hoopa respectively.

Some are speculating that, because the bracelet on the trainer's wrist is clearly not a mega keystone (thank the heavens), the game will utilize the "synchro" that audiences have seen with Ash and his Greninja in the anime. Hmm.

Also, the Rotom PokeDex seems ridiculous to me. Haha.

At first I was planning on going Moon, but I feel like going for Sun all of a sudden, so that'll be my pick. Solgaleo being Steel/Psychic was... unexpected entirely. I had theorized that the two legends would share a type, but Psychic never even came to mind. Although, I don't really like how the "new" abilities are just Clear Body and Multiscale with new names. I guess the moon legend will need it with that typing though.

As far as the Rotom-Pokedex, I like the idea, but I certainly hope it is not as Koh suggested: An annoying character that tells you where you "need" to go. That would destroy the more-or-less open world Pokemon has managed to have even with a set path of gyms. I also hope it can actually be used in battle, that'd be pretty cool, although very unlikely in my opinion (Steel/Electric maybe? That'd work wonders with levitate).

But, all in all, I'm really looking forward to these new games. It looks like they're trying to break some trends with these and I am liking the looks of it. Also, a friend of mine pointed out that this is the first time they've tried to go for fully realistic proportions since the GameCube games. Not entirely true, but I certainly like the direction the art is going.

Solgaleo is most likely based on the famous "Green Lion who Devours the Sun", which then makes the steel typing ironic, since the green lion represents vitriol (aka sulfuric acid).

Of course, I don't care too much about the legendaries because I never use them anyway.  They just get stuck in a box on my cart.

What is important is how damn cute the girl's design is.  The cow udder bandana and the melon slice purse are absolutely wonderful.  I love it.
