Yes, it is where you get the Hammer.

I wandered around in circles too, once I got the Lens things changed. Use it in the first room, and if you're uncertain of where to go afterwards just keep using it, it guided me to the Boss Key with little trouble.

Got a bug, please view the screenshot.



This is the entrance of Lvl A, but after bombing, instead of a stairway appearing, an undercombo tile appears. I also can't move Link to the room above.
Actually I returned back to this screen but encountered this bug.

Very strange Ielen. I never encountered any of these bugs. You already said you had the updated version... what ZC version are you using?

I never came across those bugs either.

And, if memory serves, Happyman played up to some level with a2 of 184, and I've played straight through to level 7 with 183...

With both versions of 1.92, this bug has not existed...

Very, very odd indeed.

I'm playing on the 182/183. It can't be the continue bug as I can move Link about & can only exit out of the dungeon.

I killed the blue wizzrobes, I waited for wallmasters, I fired arrows, I hit stuff with hammers, nothing works... How am I to get at those blocks?

I saw this but couldn't figure out. But I think it probably has something to do with Lvl 7 items. Could it require the Lvl 2 bracelet?

You need to shoot the Eye statues with the Silver Arrows. You find them in Level 7.

Also, is the silver arrow what you use on the eyeball statues found in the overworld? (Near the dungeon entrances to levels 2, 3, 5, and maybe others..)

Look at the Readme to figure out what those eyeball statues do. You don't interact with the statues themselves.

I'm stuck in Lvl 7, can't seem to reach the locked door or hidden stairs. I got the two items already. I've explored the left & right side but seem to be unable to miss something.
Will appreciate help to reach the boss key.

Btw, the secret path in one room is revealed with the whistle tile on the left side, while the right side the secret path is hidden.

I know what Ielen Problem is on Level a. Look at his position cursor on his map in the upper left, its at screen 00. Obviously he died, was sent there. But I just checked, there is a insta-warp leading back to the REAL entrance, so lord knows how he avoiding that.unavoidable instawarp. Thus he can't go north nor bomb that undercombo. Simply leaving and re-entering should fix this.

DFW, I didn't die but when I exit the stairway, I found myself in that situation

Anyway, to be clearer about my problem in Lvl 7, I pushed the block & it changed & prevented me from entering the other path. There's several locked doors in both the left & right sides of the dungeons.

okay, go back to where you got the boots, take note of EVERYTHING in that room. Now head to the left side and go to its mirrored room. What is different?

Ah yes, I spent awhile wandering around Level 7 trying to find the boss key, but I did. I'll give you a hint.

Go into the room where you found the boots (1 screen north and 3 screens west of east entrance). Analyze it closely. Now go into its mirrored room (the one that looks just like it from the west entrance). What difference do you notice? What item did you receive in this room? Put those together and...!
