There are 5 golden leaves on the floor. Make sure you've found all 5. Besides the one the boss gives you, the other 4 are behind walk-through walls. You can also use the map to find them.

I don`t understand: I got the amulet from Old Man and still get the bad ending after defeating final boss. What should I do to get the true end?

Did you talk to the old man at the top (before the final battle)? You need to finish all the Lost Halls. Then, open the four big key doors at the top, and beat the mini dungeon.

Finally back to this.

Mirage Tower is kinda reaally dumb imo, glad it's over. I don't remember everything, but I think I made it to the lava dungeon and then couldn't figure out how to get somewhere.. by the way, you can skip the raft section of it by tanking a hit and using the hookshot. which makes me kinda happy because the raft things are pretty stressful to do with an analog stick.

 

Any hints to the lost halls?

I know there's one on Floor 7 but after hours of searching was unable to find it, I can go into the one in floor 9, and I know there's obviously at least one before floor 6 due to the quests's screenshots showing you in one without a sword.

 

Edit: Is the one on Floor 7 on the bottom water level or the middle water level?

There are "glassy" tiles that are used to indicate Lost Hall entrances. There is one on floors 3, 5, 7, and 9. The one on floor 7 is on the lowest water level. The start of the trading quest on floor 9 that led up to the Lost Halls also had this tile (in the night club.)

I coulda sworn I would have tried that tile but apparently not. I'll get those done tomorrow.

today I got through what was left of Mirage Tower, the Depths, and a good chunk of Precipitation Palace.

 

Death count is at like 35 or something.

What about the Lost Hall on Floor 9?  Finished the floor, just can't remember if I've seen a tile somewhere.

You need to complete the 'long' trade quest to get to the Lost Halls on Floor 9. It starts by finding the Beer in the night club. Finishing the trade quest shoul lead you straight into the Lost Halls.

On 9th floor, I have been through Precip Palace, waterfall Crevice, The Depths, Moonlit Currents, Fiery Heights, Mirage Tower, Forest Factory, Lost Halls (all possible floors), Icy Cave, and the Graveyard, but I seem not to be eligible to enter the tenth floor...what am I missing?

You have 7 triforce pieces, there are two dungeons in the cellar. The Depths is the first, there is one more

 

Hint: Check well the mountains

It seems you haven't done the Pit of Confusion. If you've done the block mini-game, the map should show its location in the cellar. Look for a bomb wall in the cellar after entering from the north-west corner of the map on the blue mountains.
