I'm going to give this game a try. And since you assured that this won't have the usual Avataro flair like most of your projects have, I'll lower my exceptions to save myself from being disappointed.

It was in the cave next to the game house in the Winter Village. I remember the tip about a hidden cave, I just didn't think it was as easy as cutting a bush.

 

Okay, found the hidden item. Gotta admit, this is actually kind of awesome, but overpowered now that I have infinite rupees. ... where'd I get infinite rupees from, by the way? I don't remember picking up an infinite rupee wallet.

Just a little tip, the prize you get from the 12 cave keys can even kill the deadly blades in the tower! But not those in the final countdown of course .

To anyone who has finished the quest, try your luck at the final countdown. It's that lockblock in the starting town.

I tried. Gave up at the block puzzle. Didn't think it was worth trying to take all that time to figure out how to solve it.

 

Wish I knew about the way to kill those awful blades though. >_<

I got past them with the freezeframe "cheat" but I couldn't even begin to use the same method on the 5th Challenge in the final countdown. That this is beast. That block puzzle wasn't too tough though. Took a few tries, and I'm really happy we didn't have to start all over when we had to reset. You basically have to start on the top and bottom rows, then go to the middle.

Well, I wish I would've come up with puzzles that are as nice as the one in the Catacombs. ;D At least the quest somehow motivated you to play it until the end, didn't it?

I did get the key next to the game room. Still only found 11/12 keys.

 

Also having trouble with the maze path in the dark world swamp palace.

 Have a question about the maps. Is it a problem with my player or is there no maps at all in the quest? Not even in the dungeons?

Still trying to do the "stars" puzzle in Tasa Catacombs. Hard one. Letting my son do it for me.

Hey . There are no maps in this entire quest. You sadly can only play this without maps, so. Good luck with that, and good luck with the stars puzzle too. It's optional though btw, so keep that in mind!

Thanks about the maps. Was just wondering. I was thinking that maybe the star puzzle was optional. But I think I will let my son keep trying. Good for the mind to be stretched some. He can get it down to one star a lot.  Enjoying playing this quest. Thanks

In the item-test dungeon in the dark world and can't figure out how to get the key in the last room of the boomerang room, I tried all my items but couldn't figure out how to hit the switch.

The boomerang obviously. xD. The trick is to first face down, then press the boomerang button and then very quickly press left. This way, the boomerang should fly directly towards the switch. If nothing else helps, try randomly smashing the buttons down, left and boomerang.
