Okay, I'm going to attempt to stream the remaining quest demos for the year of 2014. No promises that I'll get through them all tonight.

I haven't gotten to uploading zodiac yet. Though it probably wouldn't be the best video to share. I ended up quitting on the first level because of the difficulty.

Huh, that's a shame.  Did you use the "L" button for the large laser blast?   Managed properly, that makes the flying level quite easy.  Since there's probably about 30 hours of play behind it, it's a shame to stop there.  Though, I can't blame you too much.  When I tried the Guardian Legend on NES as a child, the initial flying stage kept me from delving more deeply for YEARS.

I normally play demos for 20 to 30 min. So I didn't really have the time to invest. If I did however, I know I would have invested much more time.

It is a great demo from what I've seen so far. It was just surprisingly hard for the first level. Also, no, I didn't know about the L button, unfortunately.

The game pulls no punches, that's for sure, but neither did its inspiration.

 

Are you interested in doing a longer lets play down the road?  Like, next month or something?  I'm in the final stages of the game now, having completed all the gameplay, so all I have to do now is fix bugs and script the ending cinematics and credits.  It would be awesome to have a known LPer doing something a little more long term of it so people can see what it's all about as it reaches its final form.

I might some day. I used to play demos longer on request, but after I failed to live up to my end with Metroid: A Familiar Path (I once promised to play a longer demo), I feel it wouldn't be fair to do so unless I do that demo first. But I find it just so hard to really do that with so many things I'm doing. I am building multiple quests, learning how to script, beta testing a new quest coming out soon, streaming almost all the time. Lets not forget I am currently running a contest now as well. lol

 

Lately I've been trying to cut back on streaming to do other things. So it's really hard to know when I'll have free time.

Going to stream all 3 Ninja Gaiden games. This run is just for fun, so don't expect me taking it too seriously. But I do plan to beat them. lol

My run through all 3 Ninja Gaiden games the other day didn't work out. I ended up rage quitting on the final boss in number 3 after skipping number 2.

 

So I'm just gonna go ahead and play Ninja Gaiden 2.

 

I'm not nearly as good at this one as I am with the other ones. But I'll still give it a try.
