Just got the gold ring and I feel that was a REAL accomplishment! Wow, I am not sure I have ever had a game where I worked so hard, but the feeling of "I did it!" is great! icon_bounce.gif Glad i didn't take that cheat, I would have been tempted. OK, on I go.

There is an area where I am stuck and cannot go in any direction and the warp does not activate. I will have to f6 cont. to go on, pictured here

You have no idea how happy this makes me feel. That feeling of accomplishment after beating a difficult part of a quest was one of the main reasons I made my bonus dungeons so unforgiving. I'm glad you enjoy that feeling as much as I do.

You're supposed to have the hookshot from the final dungeon before you take on Moosh's ways. I should probably put some sort of secondary check in so this doesn't happen.

Okay, I give up. icon_freak.gif What's the secret to this puzzle, or is it a red herring? Also what is the sliding block for in both red and blue rooms? I know I can melt it, but does it have a "higher" purpose?

The idea is that you push that ice block in red world to where the center of the donut block is in the blue world and melt it to create a warp back. Then you step onto that warp and push the block onto the target.

Indeed! And without this info I would have never figured it out. But with it I finally did and I am now a proud owner of the hard won boss key. So off I go to contend with that boss icon_smile.gif

So I beat level 8 only to discover that it was the end of the game. I misunderstood about Moosh's Way( thinking it came after level 8, like a level 9) when you said I had to do the final dungeon to get the hookshot before Moosh's Way.

You can destroy the game with all 3 super, super weapons if you're super, super suicidal at the start of the game!

I have high hopes with this quest. It reminded me a lot to tothetop. I'm a skilled player, but I hope that this quest haven't his unfair moments. (Aevin scared me a bit) icon_lol.gif

Hey guys! There's a new update to this quest in the thread. It fixes some bugs and makes the midgame slightly less of a brick wall by making the red ring easier to get. It also makes the best ending accessible to people who didn't beat the super optional bonus dungeon at the beginning of the game and makes some slight changes to the final boss. For the full changelog, please see the release thread.

Changes I recommend (if you don't mind)

Put a hookshot block in the first room of Moosh's way so one can't pass without it.
After getting the hookshot in level 8, some way to know that you you should do Moosh's Way before finishing the level as there is no level 9.

Thanks for a very challenging, interesting and fun (when I wasn't going crazy icon_lol.gif ) game. I am playing with the Big Cats now! icon_lol.gif
