There are these moments. These moments when the PZC comunnity is totally and completly creepy. Like, when they get caught up in 6 pages worth of mathematical debate about some thrid or fourth grade mathematics. Or when they get caught up in 6 pages worth of debate about a show that solely features pink ponies. These moments... they are happening more and more often lately. I am scared.

Aww, there's nothing wrong with Griffon the Brush-Off.There's several episodes throughout the season which build up to the finale (the Gala) that should be viewed before it, in particular The Ticket Master and Suited for Success. There's also characters throughout the season that reappear after their introduction - Zecora from Bridle Gossip briefly appears in Swarm of the Century and if I remember correctly is mentioned in Stare Master, though it isn't important enough that you must view Bridle Gossip first. On the other hand, Call of the Cutie should probably be viewed before the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusader episodes (which are Stare Master, The Show Stoppers and The Cutie Mark Chronicles). There's other, more subtle nods to continuity which are easy to miss and don't really matter to first time viewers.
As for what episode you should watch next? Party of One. It's currently my favorite episode. If you aren't laughing for the entire second half of it then you need to work on your magic and/or friendship. You might also consider Bridle Gossip, which I think is generally considered the best episode for introducing people to the series. There's also the first episode, which is a two-parter and sets up the characters and setting really well (and explains why Twilight is writing all these friendship reports). If you want an episode with the conflict being something other than WE NEED MORE FRIENDSHIP - but really why would you - there's several, namely Dragonshy, Swarm of the Century, A Dog and Pony Show and of course the first two episodes.
But seriously. Party of One. In 720p. Go get your sister.

Okay, thanks, I'll refer to your episode guide when we need to choose again.
Since it's late I didn't watch it with my sister, but I did check out Party of One. The Pinkie-Pie-goes-crazy part was amusing, yes. Still reminds me a bit too much of other cartoons I watched as a kid, but maybe it's just an excess of Pinkie Pie that is at fault. Anyway, it was better than the other episode that we watched earlier.
Is it just me, or was the "singing telegram" part inspired by a scene from the 1980s Clue movie?... Well, okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch... but I'm pretty sure that when Applejack said "That's my story and I'm stickin' to it," it was a reference to a country song of the same name, heh.

Also, it seems that the only boy in the whole show is a slave...I mean, haven't seen all the episodes, but didn't see any other boy characters in that episode.
Okay, for one thing, he's a PAID ASSISTANT, and for another, you're forgetting Big Macintosh, the most epic win pony in the entirety of the Apple family, eeyup.
@ Radien, that was kind of a weird moment, but Pinkie Pie moments keep the series fun.

Are you talking about the little dragon dude? In any case, a show for kids this young doesn't tend to worry much about money, and from what I saw he hangs onto Rarity (I think that's her name) because he has a crush on her. Standard cartoon character motivation.
Also, this show sure is... um... what's the opposite of a sausage fest?... Well, that's what it is. Seeing as there is no specific reason for them to be so short on males, it's odd that they are so rare.
...Oh well... at least they (apparently) didn't bring back that super male stereotype pony character from the original show. I forget his name, but I think he had a baseball cap and had a voice like "dude bro man" -- you know, the whole nine yards plus a field goal...

There is definitely no need to apologize for (or explain) Madam LeFlour.

Wow, 7 pages of ponies
! I've yet to see the show still (still debating whether or not to...I mean...seriously? My Little-Freaking-Pony!?), but daily I see more and more of the sites/forums I go to getting Pony-fied. Like, what is going on
!? First, there was a Doctor Who craze, then there was a Gurren Lagen craze, and now a Pony craze? Who starts them? Whoever does needs to be shot and paralyzed, so they don't do it again
!
If Friendship is Magic, what does that make Love? A Miracle

That sounds hilarious in all the wrong/best ways. I must see this.Well then.
Looks like we have a few potential pony converts on this page!
And in that case, it's time for some Bridle Gossip.

I can honestly say that was the best episode of My Little Ponies I have ever seen.
I can also honestly say that was the only episode of My Little Ponies I have ever seen.
Whenever I view the intro, though, I keep expecting something akin to the very first link of the thread.
