What a great Zelda game! I'm at 1A and there are two boss doors and then just 3 rooms to the right from the starting one.. what to do.. I have 2 keys to spare, but no boss one. Tried looking at the zquest and still not getting it :0

yeah im sure its not saving. i run ZC windowed because otherwise i get these graphical glitches on my windows 7.
and i had my ZC folder open while playing and no new files appeared when i tried to take the snapshot.
pretty lame. i've had a bunch of problems with windows 7 running games though.
almost makes me wish i owned a mac lol.

Hey - I just saw this and it might solve your Win 7 problems: here

I've made it to 5A, and all steps lead to must-reset-dead ends. I've put down 50 hours and 630 deaths on this and it must get completed. Is there any way I can help to move the project forward? Such a good game doesnt deserve an ending like this :0

overall i think this was a really good challenging quest. the only problems that i really had were in the A levels. 5a and up a lot of the stair passages lead to dead ends that force you to save and start over because you wind up stuck in walls. i had to wall walk cheat to get through a the latter portion of the A levels because the keys were unobtainable due to the stair glitches. However the key problem was moot after get the master key in i think it was 7a. the level entrance to 8a warps you to level 4a i think as well...but aside from those man this was one helluva a quest! i especially enjoyed the shadow armor payoff after busting as to find all of those keys. that was i badass sidequest spanning most of the game!
and i do wish i would've gotten to fight what looked like it was supposed to be a multi-legged gohma at the end of 5a?...looks like it would've been hard!
But yeah, the game's solid up until 4a when i first ran into stair problems and had to start cheating to progress.
keep up the good work tox!

I dont know anything about the making of quests, more than being in the zquest to fix broken things. I would like to see the game having a proper ending. I think you know of most of the broken stairs too and before 4A I didnt notice much wrong.

One thing Ive noticed is at 1A when you kill Gohma and then die on the boss, when you go back Gohma is dead but the blocks and darknuts are back and unremovable. Ive not been in the 6 7 8 A-levels. And if you were going to add a 3rd line of hearts I guess you have to fill many of the empty houses in 2nd world with heart pieces. I'd help in the update with testing and feedbacking, if that is what is needed.

First off, I want to let the quest maker know that I'm really enjoying this game! Some of it has been a bit frustrating, but not enough that I would want to quit playing. Since the quest wasn't passworded, I did go in and turn on the overworld map and also made it so I can start back in the dungeon that I saved and quit in.

Anyway, I'm walking around in circles in level 5. I've gotten the blue boomerang and the hookshot but can figure out how to get to the other side of the rocks in this room where the warp is. Is there a bomable or walk through wall that I'm missing somewhere? Thanks to anyone for your help icon_smile.gif
