I'm not saying it isn't true, I'm just pointing out that until Nintendo actually says something about it, I don't think any of us should waltz around thinking we've got all the answers, cause that has proven over and over not to be a good idea

The reason why I think this is because Nintendo is probably going to release it sooner or later, and it's going to be completely different than what we thought. Probably. I mean they do like doing that. It's just what I think.

Also, keep your spoilers either invisible or in tags! I don't really care about that spoiler, since I figured it out already, but I'm not gonna spoil any more details until I actually beat the game. D:

Not necessarily. I'm sure, if they really wanted to, they could find a way to make it a sequel, though as I said, it is most likely that it takes place before OoT for that very reason. (Didn't you read my post)

I screwed up something I read about Twilight Princess and thought it was about Skyward Sword.
Anyways, it's possible there was more than one Master Sword. It might have been destroyed, but then was reforged. I don't know a lot about the time line, though. There's probably a line of text somewhere that says there was one Master Sword.

But now that I mention those sages, I wonder if we'll get to see Laruto and Fado make a return, since they were the original Earth and Wind Sages. I think, anyway; there was never a mention of another. But regardless, I'll bet the Earth and Wind Sage story returns if this is about the Master Sword we all know. Unless Nintendo doesn't like continuity.

What is WiiMotion Plus anyway?
It's a small add on for the Wiimote that increases it's size by about 25%. You can remove it whenever you want. Basically, it allows for exact motions, which makes it able to implement 1:1 swordplay. The only down side is that it drains a little more battery to use.

That has not been confirmed. We do not know when SS takes place. Those rumors were proven to be false. They also said they would be showing off an ice dungeon on E3... they didn't.
It does probably take place before OoT though, due to the whole Master Sword thing, but how many years before, we do not yet know.
Man, what is it with Zelda and missing ice dungeons?...
I do not mind another prequel. Some people complain about prequels, but I think they tend to work out fine with a series like Zelda.

Hello
So we have to wait another 4 or 5 years to see if Midna returns?

I wonder if we'll be seeing some original NES Zelda dungeon layouts done in 3D
