Not necessarily. I'm sure, if they really wanted to, they could find a way to make it a sequel, though as I said, it is most likely that it takes place before OoT for that very reason. (Didn't you read my post)

I'm not saying it isn't true, I'm just pointing out that until Nintendo actually says something about it, I don't think any of us should waltz around thinking we've got all the answers, cause that has proven over and over not to be a good idea icon_razz.gif

You know what I think? I think that we're wasting time with this whole timeline thing. I think we should see it as how we see it personally, and keep it to ourselves.

The reason why I think this is because Nintendo is probably going to release it sooner or later, and it's going to be completely different than what we thought. Probably. I mean they do like doing that. It's just what I think.

Well, some of us like feeling "smart" when devising our timeline theories. So leave us alone. icon_deformed.gif

Also, keep your spoilers either invisible or in tags! I don't really care about that spoiler, since I figured it out already, but I'm not gonna spoil any more details until I actually beat the game. D:

Considering this, this could be a good reason they're remaking OoT- just to accommodate for this factor, to strengthen the story a bit.

I screwed up something I read about Twilight Princess and thought it was about Skyward Sword.

Anyways, it's possible there was more than one Master Sword. It might have been destroyed, but then was reforged. I don't know a lot about the time line, though. There's probably a line of text somewhere that says there was one Master Sword.

Not really. The closest thing there ever was to repairing the Master Sword was the storyline in Wind Waker about the Earth and Wind Sages that prayed for the Master Sword to retain the power to repel evil. I would say you're right and that a game focusing upon the reforging of the Master Sword, possibly setting up a prequel to ALttP or something, would be sweet, only, something similar happened in The Minish Cap.

But now that I mention those sages, I wonder if we'll get to see Laruto and Fado make a return, since they were the original Earth and Wind Sages. I think, anyway; there was never a mention of another. But regardless, I'll bet the Earth and Wind Sage story returns if this is about the Master Sword we all know. Unless Nintendo doesn't like continuity.

It's a small add on for the Wiimote that increases it's size by about 25%. You can remove it whenever you want. Basically, it allows for exact motions, which makes it able to implement 1:1 swordplay. The only down side is that it drains a little more battery to use.

It won't do anything good unless the game is built with Motion Plus in mind. Twilight Princess is not, as it came out before Motion Plus.

Just watched the trailer, I haven't really been paying attention to this game. It looks pretty good, but Link looks a little strange to me.

That has not been confirmed. We do not know when SS takes place. Those rumors were proven to be false. They also said they would be showing off an ice dungeon on E3... they didn't.

It does probably take place before OoT though, due to the whole Master Sword thing, but how many years before, we do not yet know.

Man, what is it with Zelda and missing ice dungeons?...

I do not mind another prequel. Some people complain about prequels, but I think they tend to work out fine with a series like Zelda.

So we have to wait another 4 or 5 years to see if Midna returns?

I would think the main negative is that you have to place it on the ground/table pointing in the direction of the TV and sync it then pick it up off the ground/table to use. I do understand that they have it periodically sync while you play via the infrared sensor so you only need to do one hard sync each time you play, they utilize such in Wii Sports Resort I believe.

I wonder if we'll be seeing some original NES Zelda dungeon layouts done in 3D icon_razz.gif
