Wolf Style DX, Lost Isle, Origins, Fragments of Power, Ilse of the Wind and First Quest Revamp so far. I've been playing a lot of Ganon's Claim recently, too...

Now that I think about it, I have beaten a lot of your quests. icon_xd.gif

So that leaves the original Wolfstyle, Fallen One, Hidden Duality....yep, you've beaten quite a few.

Y'know, the way you had very few HCs in Ganon's Claim gave me a cruel idea for a quest I've been working on. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm ripping off, but the player can either end-up with a lot of hearts by the end, or as few as 3 if they don't bother to explore... It all depends on how much the player is willing to explore. icon_twisted.gif

But back on topic, I started watching the Wolf Style DX videos, and I never knew that the Wolf Style overworld was that small. (I played it a little before my saves crashed and decided I'd work on playing it later.)

Uploading these videos is a slow process. I have all 15 parts done, I just need to find time to upload them and annotate them fully. And that takes a good half hour for each video. So that's a lot of time eaten up. Time I don't have right now. I may have time to upload one-two videos sometime during the night, but don't hold your breath.

19? Wow, that's going to make me look bad... Wait mine's blind. That gives me the right to move erratically through the game.

By the time most of you wake up and read this, all 15 parts of Wolfstyle DX will be uploaded. Now I have to find time to do my next filming project. Origin 1st and 2nd quest + secrets of 3rd (it'll only be one video) will most likely be my next project to tackle. I'm still debating if I should condense the overworld sections or should I do independent quest videos of the overworlds? I mean, its the same dang overworld for both quests. Do you really want to see me play through it twice? I'm unsure of how to tackle this quest, video-wise, honestly...

I'd jut show the overworld once for the first quest, honestly, then just show where each dungeon is for the second along with the dungeons themselves.

That's how I'd do it, anyways.

Hmm, I have to agree with Blaman here, show the differences but don't show things twice unless it's unavoidable.

Yeah...I'm still debating the best way to go about things. Because some things 'do' change inbetween quests. Like the locations of the mini-games, the bottle, etc.

Well, I say show the entire 1st quest. When you get to the 2nd quest, just skip parts that are repetitive, with the exception of repeated bits that you think are worth showing again. Provide smooth transitions between those skipped parts so as to clear up what was skipped and what your next goal is. Your idea of just the one video for the 3rd sounds like it would suffice.

Man, I would love to see origin 2 quest (Even more so third quest) as I'm to horrible to be able to beat it.

Edit: note to self, make sure you're on the last page before replying! V_v;

As for WSDX hard mode, one thing that could be done instead of a walkthrough but is still helpful is to maybe just have one video with a bunch of short clips of parts of the quest on that mode, visually emphasizing the general differences in difficulty and the differences in shop items. That would be pretty neat. It would be similar to a movie preview, but with commentary. Just a thought though.

I'll be doing that for Origin since there are so many 3rd quest differences.
But not so for Wolfstyle DX, its a bit much right now. Esp. since I can't start hard mode from the end of normal mode like I can with 3rd of Origin. icon_razz.gif

Well, I've done 12 parts so far and complete up to 5 levels in 1st quest. There are a few videos where I had to splice two together creating a momentary pause and music jump. Hope that doesn't annoying some people. Reason being, I ran up against a block puzzle I temporarily blanked out on how to solve! So I had to splice the video to one where I solved it 'effortlessly.' So when I finally uploaded these Origin videos, you'll know the reason why I had to jump cut certain videos, because I was taking too damn long on a particular block puzzle! And unlike a 'fumble your way through' walkthrough, I wanted to make these short and to-the-point. I wasn't going to waste viewers time watching me figure out my own block puzzles.
