well, duh, of course i know that's why. but what i meant is that it is kinda unfair.

If you made a video game, would you release it around the world before releasing it to your home country?

Didn't think so. We're not special just because we're the US of A, or UK, or whatever the hell we are because bottom line, they start local with their games just to test them out.

Nobody's ever cared before, it just means more spoilers for us.

Double post, but it's been after 12 hours.

Am I only the one here who's been keeping up with the updates? Since it was released in Japan, Serebii has been constantly updating the site with information. Dang, I want this game so badly right now. Everything about it looks amazing!

Oh no, not you, just, you try going through two consecutive 12 hour work days with two more 9 hour work shifts coming up. Try balancing that out with full time school. My Boss just HAD to go on vacation, didn't she? >_<;

Ummm....it sounds like they're really pushing or this game by including all these Pokémons, but...are they trying to tell us this is their last or something? They've never done this before. It also feels like it's devaluing the GBA-DS connectivity. So...it's all worthless now?

I want this game to have the Top Trainer Cafe from Platnium. That was the most addicting part of Platnium to me. What's next? They're gonna put the Sevii Islands in the game?

Well, it's been announced that you can refight gym leaders, by Serebii hasn't found where. Unfortunately, the Sevii islands are gone. Oh well.

Speaking of the game's soundtrack, have you heard the songs for the Tin Tower and for battling Ho-oh? Their amazing! So Japanese feeling.

Oh, and there's a video of somebody getting Lugia on Youtube. I think it wins the most epic legendary award, possibly even better than Giratina was.

I doubt it. The main reason they added the other ones was so you could get all the starters of the DS without having to migrate from the GBA. You can already get those ones from P/D/Pt.

By the way, I know it's a slim chance, but you know how they do it: It would suck *** if they decided to do what they did with some other awesome games, and never translate it and keep it in Japan.

Whoa, guess what. When some people were digging through the sprites in the game, they discovered trainer sprites for Giovanni. And now when they were looking through the text, they found a part that indicates an event involving fighting Giovanni and something about Celebi. There's a translation of the text on Serebii's discovery thread. This could get very, very interesting.

Edit: They translated more of it. Appearently, Celebi takes you and the other main character (Gold or Crystal, depending on what gender you choose) back in time. At one point, it goes to Giovanni listening to Team Rocket's radio broadcast from Goldenrod. Then, Celebi goes back further to when Giovanni lost to Red three years ago, and it confirms that Silver is his son. It's still unknown if the event is in game or wifi though. I'd guess it's a wifi event.
