I'm dropping out. I haven't even finished Level 1 yet, and I still need to finish that Zelda Arcade dungeon. So yeah, sorry.

It's been a few days. How are you all faring thus far? I topped off my second of four dungeons last night, and am probably going to knock out some overworld today.

Well, I've been mostly focusing on the tileset, but when it's done, I'll be workin' on all cylinders...

Well, I'm official dropping out. I've only finished four screens. So, I'll just be running the contest, not competing in it.

Seriously... whether or not you've gotten that far or not, you should at least not officially can it, you may get a sudden urge to want to finish... however, if your mind is already set to "I'm done... I quit", you'll never get that urge.

I only have finished 5 screens... c'mon guys, at least try.

Wow. At the halfway point and still behing a bit. I will keep pressing forward though. I've got 6 dungeons to go and the overworld.

Are y'all still in the contest? It's fallen to the second page of the forum. I am admittedly off-schedule, having just finished the third of four dungeons, with no overworld progress, but I should be able to squeeze my quest out before the deadline, especially with the 1st of September being a holiday in the U.S. I doubt I'll win, but the peer pressure of meeting a deadline is really the only thing that I've found has the power to motivate me into quest-making. I enjoy it, but I never really get around to it, sort of like playing chess...

I hate to say it, but I'm not going to make it. Thanks for the opportunity, but I guess my drive wasn't there with the distraction of college.
