Why have we let this thread languish in the bottomless pit of inactivity? We must throw it a rope so that it may save itself and not be ... falling ... forever.

I always hate it when threads that I really want to succeed fail. I'm sure some of you have had the same experience. It's sometimes difficult to understand that other people have differing interests, though,

Yeah... most of my threads languish and die horrible, agonizing, drawn-out deaths. Except for the Brawl one, that one did pretty good.

I use Generic Revival Item on this topic.

I was driving down highway forty in my big old pickup truck.

The world sometimes needs people like Schwa, not to show them a mask, but a mirror. Nice one.

I suppose you're right. Its unfortunate that people like Schwa are mistreated in life.

Unfortunate, maybe, but the Path Of The Aspie is a long, difficult road filled with trial, rejection and sorrow. I can take it. icon_smile.gif

You and I can at least be thankful we live in fairly civilized countries. In some places, children showing signs of mental "disorder" would be locked up in institutions. In Romania, as I saw in one horrible but memorable documentary, one home kept such children locked in cages and fed them through the bars like animals.

In recent years, the term "Asperger's syndrome" has become reasonably well known and people are, I guess, more capable of understanding it. You might also find, Schwa, that it can have its advantages too.

ouch, that is a horrible way of life. No one deserves that, no matter what setbacks they have.

Hungary isn't too healthy on the matter either. Here are only 2 states are documented: autist and not autist. Schwa would be labeled "not autist" here, since he can communicate with the outside world. Not a psichologically talented country...

So, I'm sitting here with nothing to do except piddle away at ZQuest. It's not very immediately rewarding at the moment, so it's going at about -snail mph.

Well, I haven't opened ZC up in ages. I want to restart my Blade of Ancients set, but I also want to get started on hobby animation. Youtube cartoons and crap.

Well, my sister's "boyfriend" (they're not technically dating yet, just going out- you know what I mean) is coming over in about 30 minutes to eat dinner with us. It's a little awkward for me, because I don't particularly like the guy. It's not like I hate him or anything, it's just that we don't exactly mesh too well. Anybody relate?
