Umm... no Looks like they're just fixing the sound, nothing more. I HOPE they fix the freezing bug, but I doubt they will.

Welcome to ps2 port city.

As long as the ps2 exists, the wii will keep getting lazy direct ps2 ports. Minimum effort on dev's part = maximum profits. Since they couldn't even get the bugs fixed they don't deserve to be selling a thing, but what ya gonna do.

Guitar Hero 3 was, in my opinion, a disappointment. No, I'm not saying it wasn't an awesome game - any game with "Guitar" and "Hero" together in its title must be excellent by default. However, the soundtrack did not, in my opinion, live up to GH2's. Also, although you now know where hammer-ons go and where they don't, there is much less opportunity to hammer-on. Sure, it's more "Realistic", but don't teach me one way to hammer on and then completely scrap it in the next game.

That's just my opinion. The new soundtrack is definitely keeping me busy. I've played through the game on hard, but I'm still half-way through on Expert. Songs like Metallica's "One" are just crazy-difficult is all. But I'll get through it eventually.

Who's the best guitar hero player here? My most notable achievements are 4-stars on Freebird(GH2) and Expert100% on When You Were Young.(GH3)

I'm up to Lou on Expert... also 4 starred Freebird first time I finished it Don't think I've 100%ed anything, I usually ignore the easier songs... I finished that song that's one above DragonForce today too, with the crazy chords... can't remember what it's called...

Me too, funny enough. If you finish it, it's hard not to get 4 stars.

You beat the DragonForce song? I thought you needed to beat the game on Expert to unlock it?

No not DragonForce, the song ABOVE it in the list (if you've bought them all). And you don't have to finish it on expert to get DragonForce, just have to finish it on any difficulty.

Well, anyway, I just got this game a few days ago. I beat the other 3 games, but I'm having a bit of trouble beating the songs against the computer. I just skipped them, but I'm pretty sure you need to beat them. I'm currently on the 5th set, and it's just getting harder for me.

I've finished expert, and every song except DragonForce. I beat Lou by using the cheapshot technique though (highlight for technique: if you get a whammy attack on the first battle section, use it just afterwards when Lou starts a long string of green notes. Instant fail.)

Pssh. I liked Dragonforce before Guitar Hero 3 made them cool. And "Through the Fire and the Flames" isn't their best work, IMO.

I haven't noticed a freezeing problem Noel so please tell me what your talking about, the only things I noticed is on WIFI when you go to character select it somtimes stops ona werieded out section of a venue. OTher than that I've encountered no problems
