Submitted. Something I haven't done before, sort of. A mix of a few things. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. :3

Yes, very good. Glad to see so many have entered. As for me, I haven't submitted yet. I'm working on my new Classic set, and am still drawing up the graphics. I thought I was done, but it turned out I needed a lot more work. I'm starting the actual screen today, as soon as I finish up drawing some more tiles.

Going to submit a shot hopefully this will match the skills of Giggdy, Ebola Zaire, SpacemanDan and William's icon_frown.gif.

I'll say here I like your shot better than mine in terms of design. I have nothing going for me but fancy graphics.

Just submitted icon_smile.gif. Good luck everyone how is yours going William icon_biggrin.gif? Judging by your posts you seem to be enjoying making tiles and editing them. My screen has no subscreen (my subscreen is incomplete and defualt looks kinda boring) and enimies hope this dosen't affect my screen icon_frown.gif.

I've decided to once again go with no subscreen. All I have is a default, and in my opinion, that's just as bad as no subscreen. I haven't finished my screen yet, still drawing tiles for Classic. I'm deciding right now whether or not I should submit all this drawing and color-editing as a new Tileset or as Loose Tiles. What do you think?

Considering on submitting, but I want to highlight a few points;

1. I got creamed in SotW 310, the most recent SotW with at least 6 contestants, with only Schwa voting me, and I felt it was my best entry in SotW. In comparison, I won SR 57 with what I felt as my worst entry in SR.

2. I don't have my creative side with me ATM.

3. I hate getting unhelpful comments. Things like "A perfect example of enemies ruining a perfectley good screen" or "<insert colours here> don't work with <insert tileset here>" are examples of what I consider to be unhelpful and so I will ignore them.

4. I'd like to join in on the fun with this.

Entered.
It's worth a shot. Plus, I think it's my first Game Boy looking shot I submitted.

I just submitted. I did it wrong, though. I accidentally made the topic outside of the dropbox. I fail at life.

I think it's pretty nice. Good to see I have some stiff competition this week.

Russ! Don't believe in yourself - believe in ME! Believe in the DAN who believes in YOU! *Shot before friggen running*

So I guess we don't have enough shots and have to wait till next week. icon_deformed.gif

Naw, kidding. But on a more serious not, I'm interested in seeing how many shots we got this time around. I guess we'll see soon enough. Should be a very interesting competition this week. :3

I, too, am excited about this week's competition. Hopefully it'll get started soon, I can't wait. Well.... I can wait, but I'd rather not. icon_smile.gif It's going to be interesting.

Before I start this, I might as well tell you what I'm thinking.

So this week we ended up getting more than 10 competitors; in fact, right now there are 13 including myself. The problem is that I can only put ten options into a poll. I've got two options:
  1. Create a poll on an external polling site and link to it in the topic. It'll work, but I worry that not as many people would vote.
  2. Topics can have up to two polls each. Separate the shots into two polls, with each poll having an "I did not vote in this poll" option. As long as everyone follows that, it should work fine, but there's a potential for one person to vote twice.
Once I figure that out, I'll put the shots up.
