megaman:
Well, I don't think YOU can get the third sword... Zero could get it with Twin Dream, but you... Oh, wait! The Twin Dream is in IW L4! Get it, go to northwest main IW overworld and use the stones' magic reflecting ability.

Edit: Dang, stuck again! I'm on the road to the portal out of Hyrule. I've come across a screen with a lower ledge, and a higher ledge. I'm on the lower ledge, and there's a red darknut on the higher ledge. The lens of truth shows stairs appearing, but doesn't show how to make them appear. What do I do here?
Edit: Nevermind, figured it out as soon as I posted.
What are the minibosses behind the white fence? I can't figure them out, because they're invisible. One of them seems to be a ghoma, and one moves like an Aquamentus, but doesn't fire like one.
Edit: Oh, it's a Gleeok. That explains it.
Edit: Wow, 4 edits. Anyways, this is a comment, not a question. First of all, the scene after you enter the portal was nice. I especially liked the Metroids, since I'm a big fan of Metroids (the creatures). Although I do have to ask this: Why does Vaati want to destroy Hyrule? I can understand wanting to rule it, but what good would it do to rule a kingdom that you completely obliterated?

@russ: as for vaati, hes evil so he wouldnt just wanna rule a nation, hed wanna rule AND torture the people by destroying thier homes and forcing them into poverty and even killing some of them... that just my guess though, unless it has something to do with the story which i havent completed yet.
edit: i seem to have found a bug look at the following screenshot:

in this room it is possible to go up from under the floor onto the top layer! you can see link is half visible here because he is between layers, if you keep pressing up from here, you can get on top of that walkway and im sure this wasnt meant to be possible... but you get stuck anyways if you have not used up any keys and are forced to quit+continue to get back to the entrance, so its probably not that big a deal, just thought id bring it up. something to note though is that this walkway does not become solid until you exit to the north then come back south.
edit2: after exploring these rooms more i just realized a way this could be abused, and totally wreck the flow of the dungeon, as well as allow for the dungeon item to be reached with just 1 key... so it should be fixed... youre supposed to need 3 keys to get to get to the end of this walkway (south) by the looks of it, but if you use this bug from terminal 1 you can get away using just 1 key... now im convinced this was a bug. also, the 2 rooms above this one that look identical have the exact same bug, i tested it.
anyways this is a pretty bad bug now that i think of it, because this allows not only the possiblity to finish this dungeon with 2 less keys than required... but if someone gets all the keys anyways it allows them to take those 2 keys to other dungeons later in the game... which can hugely mess up your intended way of them being completed.
edit 3: you can also do it on the south side after using the key... so its not only the north that needs to be fixed. however, its not possible to use this bug on the south until the blocks are gone anyways.
edit 4: argh getting rupees for the goron mask is the 1st "big pain" ive come across in this game yet, mainly because ive already collected all the rupee secrets available and the only "infinite rupee givers" are in the LW.... even with vsync slashing that bush by the necrolodge its taking a long time

you have to come back after you get another item, every dungeon has a comeback heart piece except those which cannot be revisited, and youve found the location of the one in the 1st level.

I see, thank you. I still can't seem to get to the key on the east side of the first floor though.

anyways i have a question of my own, how do i get up onto the southwestern corner part of hylia wastes (where that ring of cactus is where 1 looks like it has a door)? because ive now beaten IW2 and hylia wastes is no more, so this means i cant go back there and i am thinking of not saving because i was not able to explore that area. how do i get up there? i could not find a way, and its starting to bug me
edit: i did not save and so i have to beat the IW2 boss again later... i simply cannot continue the game knowing i most likely missed something lol (especially if theres no way for me to get back to it later)

Why Vaati wants to destroy Hyrule? Well, he doesn't really want to do that. Better say, he absolutely doesn't want anything from Hyrule now. He just sends all army near the portal and commands Dynamo to blast in the direction of the portal... (so that the army and the portal vanishes) and he doesn't realize that a "space => ground" satellite beam fired onto a tall mountain can distort the whole area around. As I just said, he doesn't even care it. Right now ALL he wants is the Lightforce. Everything after that is Irrevelant now...
EPIC:
That's a really serious bug! Good find. Let me measure... 2 extra keys after IW L2... Hm, it can deliberate the 2 IW L4 keys, making that dungeon shorter... Hm, I don't think it let's you skip any items... So I will wait with the update yet. Especially that to my knowledge, only you found it so far.
EDIT: Oh, and about that cactus circle... there's just a shop. You can access the same shop later, too. You didn't miss anything. And you can get there by hookshooting up, I guess.
king-n:
A commonly asked question. When travelling with raft, keep pressing "right". You will eventually need bombs and boomerang, then fight some and the key is yours!
judasrising:
Din's Fire will be a mandatory item later.
Nayru's Love is secret item, will require IW L7 item.
Farore's Wind will be at the very end of the game, specifically at the very end of the Secret Ending.
