I've been playing A little of Garry's Mod on a friends computer (There's a lot stuff you can do in that game!).

And Also picked up Sonic Before The Sequel (Fan Game) And Boy I'm having fun with it. I have to say this is one of best Sonic Fan games I've played in awhile!.

Quick warning on that game. There's a glitch regarding the air bubbles not registering being used, and Sonic will often drown when he shouldn't. Also, the drowning countdown is not dependant on the FPS, so if you get hit with lag on that one level, you'll drown much faster than you should.

Doesn't happen to everybody, though. If you have a fast enough computer, the lag drowning shouldn't be an issue. If you can't possibly beat the level, there's a special key you can hit to skip the level as an emergency. I don't remember what key it is, but it's one of the letter keys. Try not to use it unless you're getting screwed over by a glitch, though.

@kurt91: Man I hope I don't run into that bug O.O. But maybe My computer is fast enough to not have that lag drowning problem. I mean I haven't had any lag problems yet though, which is a good thing icon_smile.gif.

Borderlands 2. Eh, I finished the main game once with the Assassin, and there's really nothing new to it. I'm on a Commander run, but I've already seen it all, so why bother going through it again?

I've beaten the main story and unlocked the second play-through, to me the game seemed a little dull in the gameplay department but the humor is still very much there and present throughout and the villain is extremely well voiced.

I think my main problem is how slow it is to level up and unlock skills. I don't think I've ever played the original game without DLC so I am unsure what it was like when it first came out either but I am aware that one of the last patches for that game buffed the level cap as well as one of the DLC and both changes presumably made it faster/easier to unlock skills. I also hate that my favourite class (Commando) no longer has ammo regeneration and that there is no one that specializes in just snipers and pistols.

I can vouch for Fallout 1 and Arcanum. They're pretty similar in terms of engine, oddly enough.

Also, just finished Torchlight 2 with my Outlander. Seriously, Glaive and Stone Pact are way too overpowered. Also, anyone know when TorchEd comes out?

Almost to the end of the Female Route in Persona 3 Portable. Just executed the peeping toms in the Kyoto hot spring.

I had a strong craving for shooters lately (that isn't Call of Duty). I played a lot of Killzone 3 tonight. After I'm done with that game, I want to brush up on my Halo with the anniversary edition and Reach. I will be getting Halo 4 instead of Black Ops II.

Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones.

As someone who's not really ever gotten into the FE series before, I'm not really sure how I feel about this game's mechanics. Permanent death isn't inherently a bad feature, but it's something that needs to be handled carefully in a game like this and I feel like there's other mechanics that work against the permanent death feature and make it frustrating. (Enemies having a random chance of getting critical hits and sometimes killing a unit when they shouldn't have, for example. You can't really do much to plan ahead for random chance, and if you're unlucky and don't want to lose any units it'll mean restarting what can be very long missions. It's not fun.)

I'm also finding the cutscenes and dialog really, really boring but force myself to watch/read them because I am insane. I don't think anything about the story or characters are interesting or is going to stick with me. A year from now, I'll have probably forgotten everything about the story/characters.

Despite all this, I am having fun with the game! I just... have some issues with it. Hopefully, as I continue it, they won't bring the game down for me entirely.

I think a game like Valkyria Chronicles (similar to Fire Emblem) fixes that. There are permanent deaths in Valkyria Chronicles as well but it only happens if an enemy kills you and confirms kill (stands right next to you) or if an enemy kills you and you don't call in a medic within 3 turns.

Like I've said before, Sacred Stones is probably my least favorite of what I've played... Well, maybe except for Radiant Dawn. It's still fun, but definitely pales in comparison to Path of Radiance or Blazing Sword (which was the first FE localized in the USA).

I'm eagerly waiting the release of Pokemon Black 2 (I wouldn't recommend White 2. Black 2 has more exclusive Pokemon and has a harder difficulty mode, which White 2 does not have.) so I've been replaying Black, started over with the intent of trying out different Pokemon. Currently at Nimbasa City with Dewott, Tranquill, Litwick, Pawniard, Cottonee, and Dwebble. Yes, I did some trading. Also, Oshawott was my starter during my first playthrough, but I have to admit, Snivy and Tepig are both awful, awful pokemon. There are way too many bug, flying, and psychic types to justify choosing either.

Also playing through OoT 3DS, Master Quest, with the full intent of avoiding the use of L-targeting. Got through the Deku Tree without it, and it felt a lot more fresh, especially fighting Gohma. Feels like I'm actually using the sword instead of just timing the B button at the right time.

I finally got around to buying a PC controller, so it might make playing a few games I've got a bit easier. I also went on GBATemp and made a request for somebody to install Free MCBoot onto a memory card for me, so I can run USB stuff on my PS2 as soon as I get my memory card mailed and sent back.

@Giggidy: Pick the Batman game. I can't play it for more than 15 minutes at a time before my computer shuts down from overheating, but it's still one of the best games I've ever played in my life.

The things I didn't like about SS is that it's far too short at 21 Chapters, the story is predictable and uninteresting, and the Creature Campaign does get repetitive. However, one thing I really loved about the game was its non-linearity. If only if Intelligent Systems took more advantage of this rather than just limiting to just fighting monsters. I'm so glad they are bringing it back in FE: Awakening.

That's not even the beginning of FE's problems. The entire system is rigged to trap beginners and make it very easy to accidentally make your game unwinnable without restarting from the beginning. Thankfully Sacred Stones lets you grind in the optional stuff if you do this to yourself accidentally.

The story... Yeah, there's absolutely nothing special about Sacred Stones's story, but then again there's nothing in particular that's special about any of Fire Emblem's stories or characters. That's never particularly been the series's strong point, or Nintendo's strong point in general, really.

No no no, haven't you ever watched anime before!? When a guy peeps on a girl (especially in an onsen), the correct way for her to respond is to force him to have sex with her as punishment.
