I beat the boss of the ancient cistern. The battle itself was pretty fun. The ensuing cutscene (of link completing his objective there and all that jazz) made me shed a manly tear from the amount of legendary burning my retinas.

Random tangent: Who else thinks Gusty Garden Galaxy's music would sound great during the flying segments? For some reason I think it would. I mean, I've grown attached to the in-game music a bit, but this almost sounds like it was made for it. icon_heh.gif

A place name is hardly a spoiler. A non-specific description is hardly a spoiler ("the mountain is big/ the forest is green" "OMG SPOILERS!"). Relax. I have a pretty good grasp on the english language to permit imparting sufficient information before wandering into spoiler territory. ;P

I've gotten past the first dungeon and I've played for over 6 hours so far, very, very, VERY much enjoying this game so far icon_smile.gif (Took like 15 minutes to work out how the heck you synchronize a Wiimote because it's been like a year since I last had to do that >.>")

Quick question though: How do you swim, does it require learning it at a later point in the game? (Only answer yes or no, no spoilers)

Edit: My only complaint about the game so far is the fact that every B button item re-synchronizes the Wii-Remote whenever it is drawn/ready.

Also in general I find most actions such as pointing at items in a menu never ever at all sync with the remote properly. I end up dramatically over compensating to move that courser. Luckily several menu's let you use the analog stick to select stuff.

To some people, it is a spoiler. So stop being selfish and put spoiler tags.

Thanks, I still hate how they handle the B button items though, in Wii Sports Resort you only had to synchronize once and then you can play 90% of the minigames, why couldn't they have done something similar here with regards to the items? (Have it so you only need to synchronize the remote one time the first time you use each B button item since equipping it?)

Edit: Also dislike the inability to adjust the Music/Sound FX volume. I find the Sound FX slightly too loud in comparison to the music.

Your use of the word "resynchronizes" is confusing. Do you mean recenter? Because if you mean that the cursor takes the wii remote's current position and treats it as the center whenever you draw an item (or use the Look/Dowse function), yeah, it does do that. It's a slight bother, but I'm not sure how much better it would be if it were done another way.

For that matter, I can't really tell what the difference between recentering and recalibrating is. Obviously, recentering shouldn't mess up the gyroscope... I've tested this, in fact, and the "tilt" of the remote in various directions isn't affected by cursor recentering.

So, what does recalibrating do that recentering does not?...

Recentering is a really useful feature. Nintendo did an awesome work, getting rid of the pointer function and using the M+ to do the cursor. I don't even haven to point at the screen, it's really useful and great! The contols of the game are perfect and the game itself, too.

For now, the only thing of the game I don't like, is that you cant jump down from the town, wherever you want, you can just use the bird if you use the docks..

Recalibrate would indeed have been a more appropriate word. And no, I still don't see why it was needed at all as it means that over half the time you go to use an item you have to hold the remote flat and press Down. Gets annoying quick.

Up to entrance to Dungeon 3, enemies, puzzles, music, village NPC's, time it takes to complete an area etc. are all great. Most hated item in the game so far would be the
